Chapter 1954: Chapter 1319: Fight to the Bitter End! (Ben the Cat Thinks It’s Ti to Roll Over)

“—————————!!!”

Imdiately, the entire battlefield completely collapsed.

It seed to be a precursor to the world’s destruction.

In Baroness Vardus’ eyes, the dark flas almost enveloped the entire world before her. For a mont, everything—yellow, green, red, blue…—turned into black and white.

It was just for a mont.

Then, everything was completely destroyed.

The erupting black flas, like a volcanic burst, roared out from the cracks in the earth. The Divine Machinery of the Fire God Legion began to lt, explode, and shatter in this death and destruction. At this mont, it seed as if the entire world started to quake. The Raven Knights retreated in terror as the incomparable breath of destruction pierced their ntal defenses like a heavy hamr—they could face traitors fallen into chaos, could face demons from The Supre Heavens, but destruction—destruction was everywhere, it was right there.

No one could stop it.

When Baroness Vardus opened her eyes again, all she saw on the battlefield was a pile of ruins and a towering figure standing on the wrecked body of a Titan, wielding a War Hamr.

Then the figure roared at the sky.

“Anyone–else–!”

The battle continued.

The entrance of the Light of Truth slightly shifted the balance of the battlefield; the soldiers held the gate, and with aerial bombardnt, repelled another attack of the Black Legion. The Light of Truth did not adhere to battlefield conventions. At this mont, it was almost frenziedly unleashing its firepower and ammunition onto the ground.

Lord Kreide had no comnt on this, partly because the Black Legion was too nurous and indeed required massive firepower to obliterate them.

On the other hand, Lord Kreide was also aware—the Light of Truth would probably not hold out for long.

It was, after all, a single ship, while in orbit, Mountain Array and the Black Fleet were locked in an indecisive standoff, but it wasn’t difficult for the Black Fleet to dispatch two warships to pursue the Light of Truth. So now, what the Light of Truth could do was frantically hurl its ammunition onto the battlefield before the Black Fleet reacted, as much as it could.

Otherwise, there might never be another chance.

The Black Legion seed to understand this too, they temporarily slowed their assault and retreated, waiting for that pesky mosquito up there to be dealt with before resuming their offensive. anwhile, Lord Kreide took this opportunity to regroup the forces and reorganize strength. It was like two bruised and battered boxers montarily separated in the ring, even though the referee was counting down, they continued to stare each other down.

Everyone knew this was only a brief pause, and once it disappeared, there would be another round of slaughter.

Originally, Lord Kreide thought this was the best news so far, but the next ssage from the battlefield shocked him even more.

The Fire God Legion had been completely annihilated, and the Raven Knight Order, initially responsible for defending the East Wall, was now under Baroness Vardus’ leadership, reinforcing defense. They were now asking whether to continue fortifying the rear or to support other battlefields?

“Is the situation verified? No, no need for support, have them retreat imdiately, return to the Bastion for supplies and repairs!”

Having lost the Imperial Navy in orbit and nurous armored forces, the Raven Knights were now the last armored unit stationed at Kadia. Initially, the Fire God Legion held them at bay, but now with the Fire God Legion destroyed, the Raven Knights could return for defense once more!

Lord Kreide was certain that in a short ti, the Black Legion could definitely not assemble a second Fire God Legion!

This also ant—the battle could still be fought!

However, Kraft Polygon Fort must not fall!

The reason the Black Legion, despite their advances, hadn’t completely destroyed Kadia boiled down to one thing—the reactivation of the Cadial Planetary Shield. Originally, Abaddon intended to use the Blackstone Fortress to blast Kadia to pieces with one shot. But once the planetary shield was reactivated, Abaddon had no choice but to grit his teeth and issue landing orders.

Next, only by breaking Kraft Polygon Fort and destroying the shield device inside could they completely eliminate the planetary shield, thus annihilating Kadia!

But… can the invincible Abaddon accomplish that?

Lord Kreide didn’t know, but it didn’t matter now. He felt the situation was improving, even though the improvent was limited, it was indeed starting to improve—he didn’t know where Mountain Array erged from to distract most of the Black Fleet’s main forces, he didn’t know how the Light of Truth popped out from so corner to desperately dump ammunition onto their enemy, he didn’t know where the landing pod ca from to destroy the Fire God Legion…?

Lord Kreide rubbed his eyes, suspecting if his old eyes were failing him.

Landing pod destroyed the Fire God Legion?

He understood each word, but why did he not understand when they were strung together?

Lord Kreide lifted his head, looking at Baroness Vardus before him, with perplexed eyes.

He urgently needed an explanation.

anwhile, the battle continued.

“Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!!”

The black Astarte roared as it rushed forward, loudly shouting the foul language of the Chaos Evil God, wielding a Chainsaw Sword towards the dark shadow blocking its path.

“Die! Despicable heretic rabble!!”

Duanmu Huai stomped on the pile of corpses before him, his strength causing dozens of corpses composed of Mortal Auxiliary Forces and Astarte beneath his foot to burst like squashed plastic bags, spilling blood and entrails. But Duanmu Huai paid no heed, he raised the War Hamr high, then swung it down with force.
