Watching their impromptu performance, everyone in the studio was staring in surprise. They ca to participate in the performance and naturally had seen "Jintian," so they were very familiar with the opening scene of the manga. Seeing these two now, it didn’t seem like they were acting but rather eting for the first ti.

Acting opposite Duanmu Huai, Arima Kana couldn’t help but admire inwardly. Actually, the story of "Jintian" is very cliché, but its popularity cos from outstanding character developnt. Take the male protagonist, for example; though he’s considered a significant tool in the story, portraying him convincingly is quite challenging.
First, he’s not a simple domineering CEO or rebellious character. He knows his days are numbered, so he appears very carefree, ignoring everyday rules. It’s like soone knowing they only have two months left, at which point laws and rules lose their aning.
The crucial part is the protagonist’s display of freedom, which is hard to balance. Too strong, and it becos a "fighting against the world" rebellious teen; too weak, and it turns into a self-absorbed narcissist.
The previous actor, although lacking acting skills, didn’t study the protagonist enough either. When acting opposite him, he portrayed an "I’m the best in the world" attitude, as if acting as a domineering CEO!
But in the manga, the protagonist had already accepted his fate from the start, so he wouldn’t be too intense. Duanmu Huai played it well, exhibiting a carefree deanor without being overly narcissistic.
That’s why Duanmu Huai took on this role, though he was displeased with how handso the protagonist was, his character was quite similar. After all, as a Judge, for Duanmu Huai — I am the rule, everything else can step aside.
With such smooth exchanges between them, others in the studio looked on in awe, feeling as if they were truly witnessing the main characters’ first encounter in "Jintian."
"Hm! I’m leaving!"
After saying this, Arima Kana stood up and turned around, while Duanmu Huai looked at her back, reaching out to scratch his head.
"Ah, what a hot-headed little cat."
As he spoke, Duanmu Huai spread his arms, shrugging his shoulders helplessly.
