While speaking, the queen activated a communication device nearby. Imdiately, Duanmu Huai saw a scruffy-bearded human doctor appear on the screen.

The mont the communication connected, the old doctor began to speak. The queen simply gave a slight nod.

As Duanmu Huai suspected, the Beast Race was not naturally occurring, but rather the product of human transformation. Just like the original intelligence collected by Duanmu Huai, the Wei’an Governnt Alliance controlled Imu Energy. During the mining process, the miners and their families were naturally the first to be infected by the parasites in Imu Energy, developing symptoms.
Because the Wei’an Governnt Alliance relied on Imu Energy, they did not publicize this. Instead, they stifled the news and transferred these patients to a research institution for study and treatnt.
During this process, they discovered that a little girl nad Mira showed resistance to Imu…not only was she not infected by the plague, her body had even been enhanced and her aging rate slowed to half that of ordinary humans!
This imdiately alerted the researchers that Imu was not just a simple pathogen. They realized that it could even be used for human transformation and genetic research!
Oh, this ridiculous idea is not unlike a certain umbrella’s.
Initially, the researchers tried to directly inject Imu into the human body, but that, of course, led to disaster. Then, they had an idea–since Imu was discovered underground, the creatures living there must be resistant to it. So they planned to rge humans with subterranean creatures and thus the Beast Race, a brand new creature, was born!
Alright, then naturally cos the clichéd story of the Beast Race who yearned for freedom escaping from human control, building their own civilization underground, and so on. Of course, if it was simply this, then it would be tolerable. At the very least, the two sides would never interact, but soon, the Beast Race made a discovery – the underground Imu was infecting all subterranean life.
The underground creatures were infected by the Imu becoming Luminescent Tribe creatures that glowed. These creatures were bloodthirsty and brutal, attacking humans on sight, and moreover, they transford their victims into more Luminescent Tribe creatures after killing them.
Although the Beast Race was able to control the underground creatures with the subterranean creature genes in their bodies, it was because of this that they were powerless against the Luminescent Tribe. While the Beast Race may seem formidable when controlling underground creatures to fight humans, they were hamstrung when dealing with the Luminescent Tribe. After a battle, their controlled creatures could very well end up infected and beco traitors.
Of course, in the beginning, the queen did not want to invade the human race. She sought the help of the doctor who was part of the subterranean exploration team at the ti, hoping that he could find a way to eliminate the Imu. Unfortunately, the doctor’s progress was minimal, and the underground Beast Race was gradually losing ground to the Luminescent Tribe’s onslaught.
The queen had no choice but to initiate the second plan, which was to launch a surface war in order to win the Beast Race so ti and space to breathe.
The queen, or rather the little girl nad Mira from before, was also subjected to many cruel experints. Thus, the doctor sympathized with her and agreed to help.

After hearing the doctor’s account, Duanmu Huai nodded, then switched the communication.
“Mia.”
“What’s up, master~?”
“Has the data been stored?”
“Yes, all recorded and currently being transmitted to Miss Rebecca and Miss Sherry…”
“Good.”
Duanmu Huai nodded, then, in the next mont, he abruptly reached out and grabbed the queen’s neck. Before she could react, Duanmu Huai used his other hand to harshly pull her head from her body!

Watching this unfold, the doctor on the screen was horrified, but Duanmu Huai just stared at him.
“The Tribunal never makes innocent judgnts. No matter what her past was, that’s not a reason for the Beast Race to invade the surface and kill humans! For the Tribunal, anything that dares to threaten humans will be executed!”
