Duanmu Huai raised his hand and spoke to the ferryman of the Soul Boat, who was staring at him in silence for a long ti.
“This is the River of Death. The living are not allowed to enter.”

Upon hearing the ferryman’s words, Duanmu Huai pondered for a bit, nodded, then abruptly lifted his Thunder Warhamr and swept it horizontally. The massive hamrhead ca to a halt just in front of the ferryman’s nose.
“Take across the river, and I’ll spare your life. Does that sound like a good deal? I think it’s more than fair.”

Upon hearing Duanmu Huai’s words, the ferryman swallowed, but his old face remained calm.
“Threatening the ferryman on the Styx is foolish, stowaway. I may not know where you ca from…but…”

However, before the ferryman could finish, Duanmu Huai swung his hamr, sending him flying into the Styx, bouncing a few tis like a skipping stone before sinking heavily into the water.
“Stupid idiot.”
Duanmu Huai snorted coldly, put down his warhamr, and then walked to the front of the boat.
“I’ll row myself.”
Soon enough, under Duanmu Huai’s control, the Soul Boat slowly traversed the crimson Styx and arrived in front of the city where Hades resided. Then Duanmu Huai leapt up, jumped off the boat, looked up at the void in front of him, revealing a cold smile.
Then, Duanmu Huai turned his gaze away and strode toward the Gate of the Underworld.

At this mont, atop Mount Olympus, an old man with white hair was staring at the water mirror in front of him angrily, watching Duanmu Huai’s retreating figure. The gods of Olympus were standing around him, exchanging astonished glances, speechless.
No wonder Zeus was so angry. When everything began, like Ares, he thought that Duanmu Huai was a backup brought by Athena. But when Ares was killed by Duanmu Huai, and his divine power and position were absorbed by Duanmu Huai, Zeus sensed that sothing was not right.
Usually, when a god dies, their divine power would explode and return to the world, and their position would be vacated, ready for soone else. But this man didn’t just kill Ares, he even usurped his divine power and position!?
Even if the divine power belonged to Ares, the position didn’t!

The doors to the Palace of Hades were securely locked; but that was no issue for Duanmu Huai. He pushed and pulled the colossal iron door—then lifted his hamr, and smacked it into the iron door with all his might!

In the next mont, the firmly shut iron door was smashed open by Duanmu Huai’s hamr just like a curtain being parted, its lower half twisted upwards, followed by the upper half also erupting into shattered pieces, hurtling into the darkness. Only a heavy impact sound could be heard.
…Alright, turns out you are supposed to lift this door.
