Caught off guard, Optimus Pri could not free himself and when he turned his head to ask for gatron’s help, he noticed gatron just giving him a look and then— took off!
“gatron!!!”
Optimus Pri was furious as he watched this unfold. But of course, he knew gatron’s character, he was the kind to betray his own people, let alone they were arch-enemies. If he could find a way to betray him, gatron wouldn’t hesitate. However, deep down, Optimus Pri still held out hope for gatron.
After all, they were strangers in a foreign land, and despite their differences, they were both Cybertronians. He had thought that gatron would at least wait for the situation to stabilise before turning against him.
But it turned out he was mistaken!
He didn’t expect that even under these circumstances, gatron would still take a gamble. Didn’t he understand the consequences if the Source of Spark fell into the hands of other forces?!
If he could, Optimus Pri would have loved to rush forward, turn around and grab gatron, but the continuous attacks from Skynet’s army forced him to grit his teeth and hold back, waiting for the mont to… settle the score with gatron!!
In the anti, gatron had already broken through the obstacles in front. The base was entirely deserted and heavily guarded, but gatron easily broke down the heavy iron walls and doors, and ran through the tunnel.
