After issuing the command, Duanmu Huai quickly directed two more Night Raven Black Stars in opposite directions. He piloted the last one, hovering directly above the base.
In many horror sci-fi movies, this team-division strategy usually ans certain death. But Duanmu Huai was not afraid. After all, his red-lettered— cough, the Night Guard squad he commanded had already died and couldn’t die a second ti. If they were attacked, their souls would simply return to his Obliteration Domain.
Thus, spreading out doesn’t hold the risk of total annihilation, but instead increases the chances of finding the enemy. After all, only once they figured out what they were dealing with, could Duanmu Huai take further action, right?
He just hoped his vehicle wouldn’t get blasted again this ti.

Duanmu Huai landed on both feet, got up, and looked around. Then… he was montarily taken aback.
In front of him stood several strange creatures facing off against each other.
On one side there were beings with black bodies, long, arched heads, and tails, without any eyes. On the other side were humanoid beings, clothed in armor, wearing masks, with hair tied like dreadlocks. But, no matter how he looked at them, none of them were humans!
And it looked like they were fighting each other!
The sudden appearance of Duanmu Huai caused both sides to pause. The dark creatures opened their mouths and roared upon seeing Duanmu Huai. The aliens on the other side also tightened their grips on their guns and spears, eyeing Duanmu Huai.
Duanmu Huai was undeterred by this.
If neither side was human, they must be aliens.
And since they were aliens, he would, of course, deal with them all at once!
“Die, you filthy Alien Hybrids!”
Duanmu Huai roared and pulled out his War Hamr in an instant, slamming it forcefully into the ground!
“Boom!”
With this strike from Duanmu Huai, the violent air current exploded and pushed back, causing both the aliens and monsters, unable to dodge, to fly backwards, crashing into the walls. Perceiving the intent to kill radiating from Duanmu Huai, one of the dark creatures gave a piercing screech, lept up and, along with its companions, quickly disappeared down the dark tunnel.

The leading warrior was the fastest. Within a few steps, he was in front of Duanmu Huai, tightly gripping his spear, aiming straight at Duanmu Huai. But Duanmu barely acknowledged him, his counter-action was to swing the War Hamr overhead, bringing along a howling wind, smashing hard on the warrior’s body, spinning it halfway around and crashing into the wall. With a “bang,” this alien warrior was turned into a pile of minced at by Duanmu’s casual hamring.
But, before Duanmu Huai could retract his hamr, the second alien warrior charged at him. The warrior raised his right hand with a claw-like short blade, aiming directly at Duanmu Huai’s neck.

Without giving a second look to the alien warrior’s attack, Duanmu Huai retaliated by grabbing the warrior’s head with his hand and forcefully smashing it against the nearby wall. The next mont, the warrior’s head was crushed. Duanmu Huai tossed the lifeless body aside and turned to the last warrior.
However, this warrior didn’t rush at him like Duanmu Huai expected. The warrior was just staring at Duanmu Huai, taking a few steps back. Suddenly, Duanmu Huai saw his body turn transparent and then vanish in front of him!
Well, it knows how to beco invisible. Interesting. But is it useful?
Seeing his opponent disappear right in front of him, Duanmu Huai was sowhat surprised. But soon, a cold smile appeared on his face. Clenching his fists, Duanmu Huai roared out loud!
“Die!”
With Duanmu Huai’s furious roar, the Fearful Aura filled with death and destruction spread out instantly. As his voice echoed, he heard a thud not far away. After struggling a few tis, a figure suddenly materialized and fell heavily to the ground, his movent stilled.
“Hmph.”
Looking at the lifeless body, Duanmu Huai sneered and walked over. He reached out his hand, and promptly pulled off the helt of the dead alien warrior.
