Chapter 602: Chapter 443: Death Space_1 Chapter 602: Chapter 443: Death Space_1 In the pitch-black cosmos, a small gunboat was slowly heading towards the Planet Cracking Battleship Steel Hamr not far away.

“These humans are really freaks…”

Looking at the Planet Dissolution Ship that was disintegrating a small planet for mining in the distance, the Batarei, who was piloting the gunboat, began to mutter under his breath. They had never seen this kind of technology before, just separating the surface of the planet and lifting it into space for disassembly was completely beyond their imagination.

“Alright, we’re not here to admire these humans!”

Hearing his subordinate’s sigh, the Tuggy Captain snorted coldly and put on his helt. They were a small gang of robbers from the Boundary God Star System. When the Tribunal launched a surprise attack on the Boundary God Star System, the gang of robbers had no ti to escape and got trapped in the Boundary God Star System. In fact, such small groups were not uncommon in the Boundary God Star System, and many people’s first thought was that even if it’s late, they could run once everything settled down.

The Star Union couldn’t possibly settle in the Boundary God Star System, right?

As a result, the Star Union did not settle, but the Tribunal blocked the Mass Relay of the Boundary God Star System. Any spaceship outside the Star Union that dared to show up received a headshot and was blasted to pieces imdiately, and they didn’t even give a warning.

Under these circumstances, most of the robbers couldn’t hold on for long.

So of them chose to break out forcefully — the results were clearly visible, while others tried to hide deeper. Even the Tuggy Captain heard that a gang of robbers had gone straight into a small asteroid to dig soil, presumably they were planning to beco groundhogs and live underground.

To force the notorious robbers in the Milky Way to beco groundhogs, the Tribunal was really overbearing!

However, the Tuggy Captain is not planning to surrender just yet. He risked several reconnaissance attempts and then discovered sothing.

That is, there’s an industrial ship here without any guards!

No guards at all!!

It’s needless to say, when the Tuggy Captain discovered this Planet Cracking Ship, he was quite surprised.

Industrial ships are considered valuable assets that need to be heavily protected in any civilization. After all, if a warship is lost, it can be rebuilt, but if an industrial ship is lost, it can have a serious impact on the civilization’s activities in the galaxy. Therefore, most cosmic civilizations will equip their industrial ships and transport ships with an escort fleet, no matter how many, there should at least be so, right?

But this industrial ship doesn’t have any!

Therefore, the Tuggy Captain imdiately had an idea.

He planned to disguise himself as part of the human fleet. He would ambush this industrial ship! If he could gain control of it, he might even be able to use it as a bargaining chip to negotiate with the Tribunal!

In the Tuggy Captain’s view, this industrial ship is likely the Tribunal’s only logistical fleet: its importance was self-evident. Although he didn’t know why the Tribunal didn’t arrange an escort fleet, it was good news for them. And so, these robbers ambushed a Star Union transport ship, looted it, and then drove this transport ship towards the Planet Cracking Ship.

The reason had been thought out long ago.

“Open the communication.”

The Tuggy Captain made a gesture to his subordinate, then gave another subordinate a command- this man was one of the few human class mbers in the robber group and was now being used by the Tuggy Captain as bait.

“Yes.”

At the captain’s command, the human crew nodded and then turned on the communicator.

“This is the Cui Que Number! We were attacked by cosmic robbers nearby, suffered heavy damage, and request assistance!”

This was the reason thought out by the Tuggy Captain, and it was also true that this transport ship had been seriously damaged when they attacked it. Therefore, it was logical to look for a place to repair it nearby.

“…………”

However, there was no response from the other side; the communication channel was entirely silent.

“This is Cui Que Number, we need help!”

The human crew spoke up again. Finally, a voice erged from the communication channel.

“Cui Que Number, this is Steel Hamr. We have received your request. Please proceed according to the guidelines.”

“Whew………”

Hearing the response, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. anwhile, the Tuggy Captain sneered, firmly grasping the weapon beside him.

“Alright, get ready to move!!”

The battered transport ship slowly landed on the tarmac according to the guidance. The raiders hushed up, waiting for the crew to appear so they could rush out, subdue them, and use the crew as hostages to get to the bridge, then take complete control of the ship.

But…………

“Where are the people??”

Staring at the empty tarmac in front of him, Tuggy Captain was stunned. He had expected that soone would co to inspect at this point, but by now, why was it that not even a shadow could be seen?

“…………”

The others were also dumbfounded. It was just like a play, decisions were made, morale was high, but when the curtain was lifted, there was no audience below.

Was the play even on?

“Go out and see what’s happening.”

The Tuggy Captain put on his helt, covering his slightly embarrassed face. The other party can wait, but they couldn’t. There wasn’t much food on this ship. If they can’t find food, they would starve to death here…… Naturally, the Tuggy Captain didn’t want this to happen.

Soon, the cabin door opened, and imdiately a group of robbers with weapons poured out. They survey their surroundings vigilantly, afraid that this might be a trap.

However…… it was still quiet, they couldn’t even hear a bit of wind, the entire ship seed devoid of any living beings.

“Let’s go; head to the captain’s cabin!”

The Tuggy Captain didn’t think twice. His tribe had a strong military style; they grew up handling guns. In the Inner Divine Fortress, the Tuggy tribe had a strong military influence. Even if he was the leader of such a small group, he would at least be able to carry out a beheading operation decently.

At present, this ship was clearly not operating as normal, but they had no other option, they were cornered with no way out.

However, they soon found that the peculiarities about this ship didn’t end there.

Logically speaking, virtually all warship doors are locked, many of them only accessible with explicit permission. This ship, however, wasn’t like that. All doors could be entered and exited at will, with no sense of being sealed off. At first, everyone thought it was a trap and walked tensely for a long while, but… they didn’t see a single person.

They then took the elevator to the bridge.

However,……

Looking at the empty bridge, the Tuggy captain was baffled.

Where are the people?

“Ho, how co there’s no one? Didn’t we have communication earlier?”

At this mont, the human crewn under the Tuggy captain were breaking out in cold sweat. The scenes from seventeen or eighteen space horror movies they had watched before flashed through their minds, their nerves on edge.

This was too strange.

There had obviously been responses on the communication channel earlier, but now the bridge was empty.

They were clearly guided towards the docking pad, but still not a single person in sight.

Was this ship fully automated, needing no manpower at all?

“Hey, where did Barry go?”

Suddenly soone asked, and everyone turned and realized that one of the rcenaries who had been following behind them had disappeared!

“What’s going on?”

Now everyone was panicking. Barry was a Krogan, if the Tuggy people were known for their military organization, the Krogans were natural-born warriors. Therefore, they had him bringing up the rear. He could handle anything should they be ambushed.

But now he had disappeared without a trace?

“When we got on the elevator, Barry was still here, right?”

“Seems so?”

Everyone was confused, although they rembered Barry being there, they also felt he wasn’t…… they couldn’t rember clearly anymore.

“Alright, enough with the nonsense!”

Seeing the atmosphere in front of him turning more and more worriso, the Tuggy captain quickly opened his mouth to speak, then he looked at the human crewn.

“You go figure out how to control this ship!”

“Yes, sir.”

The human crewman nodded, walked over to the control panel, and started to examine it.

“Report, unable to gain access, it may require the captain’s command card……”

“Find it!”

The Tuggy captain quickly issued the command.

“Search the other cabins, it must be sowhere around here, rember to stay safe, in pairs!”

“…………”

The human crewn were staring at their own captain, wanting to tell him that splitting up is a cardinal sin in horror movies, but they rembered that an alien probably hadn’t seen human flicks……

“You too!”

“……yes, sir.”

The human crewman was absolutely unwilling to go, but it wasn’t up to him. So, he had no choice but to brace himself and leave the bridge, proceeding to search through the nearby cabins.

The cabin here actually showed so signs of life, the human crewman could even see uniforms laid on the beds, he could even hear the sound of showering from the adjacent bathroom.

“…………”

Looking at the female uniform discarded on the floor, the human crewman swallowed hard, then pulled out his gun, carefully heading towards the bathroom. He arrived in front of the bathroom, took a deep breath, then suddenly swung the door open and aid his gun inside!

However,………

The bathtub was filled with water, and the showerhead was splashing water relentlessly, but there was no one inside. The human crewman lifted his head, looking around puzzledly, when he looked straight ahead-— and froze in terror. Reflected on the tallic wall was a creepy, distorted human shadow standing right behind him!

Before the human crewman could even turn around, a massive force hit him, pushing him straight into the bathtub!

“Mffffff——— Mfff—————!!”

The human crewman struggled desperately, trying to break free, but the hot water in front of him boiled as if it were cooking, welcoming him with scorching heat, he could only feel a surge of searing heat coming towards him. The next mont, the human crewman’s face started to soften, tear up, and boil in the intense heat, much like a mutton head boiled in a pressure cooker…… and then, his legs twitched………

“Click.”

The cabin door closed once again, forever holding the remains of the dead human crewman within it.
