“Please calm down, sir. We have guests here who need their rest.”
Williams seed a bit dissatisfied with the young man’s flurry of angry words.
“Rest? Here? What about the strange noises coming from the room underneath at night? Who can sleep with that? Tell now, which room did he stay in?!”
“I told you, I don’t know.”
Visibly annoyed, Williams responded to the young man’s persistent questions.
“So quit bothering , or get out of my hotel!”
With that, Williams turned around and went inside the hotel, while the young man angrily stomped off towards the side of the hotel.
Witnessing this scene left everyone in shock, while Duanmu Huai just let out a cold laugh.
“It seems that more than one or two people have disappeared here.”
Saying this, Duanmu Huai got off the truck.
“Let’s go and talk to that young man.”

The distant lake gave him the creeps and at night, strange noises would co from beneath the floor. He suspected there was sothing wrong with the hotel from the start.
“Since you’ve been staying here for quite so ti, have you seen this man?”
While saying this, Duanmu Huai took out a photograph of Jas from his pocket. Jacob took the photo and after examining it carefully, nodded.
“Correct, I saw this man the night I checked in, but I didn’t get a chance to greet him. The next morning, I noticed his car was gone, so I assud he had left. If those two old geezers told you he never stayed here, they’re either idiots or liars. If my friend doesn’t show up in the next couple of days, I’m calling the police!”
