“…..We went into the tunnel. The tunnel forked into two paths; the one leading eastward had collapsed quite so ti ago. We proceeded along the remaining path, where we found several human skeletons….. I just rember following Old Colt, then suddenly a scream sounded from behind. When we turned around to look, there were several pale, monkey-like creatures grabbing one of the workers and brutally tearing him apart.”

When I suddenly returned to the original tunnel, I found the dynamite left by the workers…..That was initially planned for the demolition of rocks and walls, but I thought I couldn’t let those creatures escape to the surface. I lit the dynamite, demolishing the entire tunnel……”
“……then I escaped from the mansion, I found the police and explained the situation, hoping they could do sothing about it. However, they just considered a lunatic……”
Just then, Duanmu Huai’s voice rang out.
“So, where did the bodies found by the police co from?”

After listening to the recording, Duanmu Huai turned to Mary and Lorena once again.
“These guys unintentionally stumbled upon so kind of underground creature, got attacked and only Winscott managed to survive. “From the police’s point of view, it was clear these were hallucinations Winscott had due to excessive fear. Of course, for the layman, this conclusion seems the most plausible, as real-life isn’t a horror movie.”

Lorena also raised her doubts.
“Mr. Winscott ntioned that he had collapsed the passage leading to the underworld. In that case……”
