Li Feng didn’t answer imdiately.
The forest grew unnervingly quiet.
Only the faint rustle of leaves and the heavy breathing of the injured won lingered in the air.
Ye Mo’s grin didn’t fade... if anything, it grew brighter, more unhinged, clearly believing he had found a kindred spirit.

Then he smiled.
A slow, similarly dangerous smile.
"You’re right about one thing."
Ye Mo’s eyes glead. "Oh? Which part—?"
Li Feng stepped closer until their faces were only inches apart.
"About the hunger."
Ye Mo chuckled darkly. "I knew it. I knew you weren’t one of those righteous pretenders. So should we start by—"
"But," Li Feng added calmly, "you’re wrong about sothing else."
Ye Mo blinked. "...Hm?"
Li Feng tapped Ye Mo’s chest with two fingers.
"I don’t share my food."
Ye Mo froze.
Li Feng’s smile sharpened.
"And even if it the last thing I do ... I wouldn’t share with a dog like you."
Before Ye Mo could respond—
Li Feng’s fist hamred into his gut.

The impact shook the entire area as trees bent under the ripple of the shockwave, and stones skidded violently across the cracked ground.

Multiple black chains burst from the ground around the camp.

Li Feng sneered at this childish trap but then his expression froze at the next mont ....as the chains didn’t target him.

The female disciples behind Li Feng stiffened, their eyes widening in alarm.
They tried to block the chains, but their bodies were still too weak to properly defend or dodge.
Ye Mo smirked to himself, curious to see how Li Feng would react.
Would he abandon those female disciples... or scramble to save them?
Either way, Ye Mo didn’t mind.
Even if Li Feng tried to save them, so were positioned far too close to the incoming strike.
At least a few would die...there was no avoiding it.

Ye Mo, with both cheeks caved in, used his hands to fix his jaw into place as he straightened up and looked at the cloudy area with a frown.

He tilted his head slightly, eting Ye Mo’s gaze with a look that was nothing short of provocative.
