Inside, however, he was frantically wondering how to explain this to the divine tree if Little Ling ask him that...

Li Feng nearly winced at his own excuse.
He assud Little Ling might be curious or confused so it want to ask, but to his surprise, Little Ling seed to convey that it could help instead.
"Oh... you an you can help dig us out faster?" Li Feng blinked, staring at the gently swaying branch.
Only then did he rember that Little Ling wasn’t an ordinary tree... it was a divine tree.
He still vividly recalled the countless thick and powerful vines waving through the air when Mo Shuyan had controlled the forr divine tree.
Little Ling’s branch waved as if nodding in agreent, then began to explain.
After listening for a mont through their connection, Li Feng finally nodded in understanding.
Apparently, the Divine Brick and the Divine Tree shared a special, mutual connection.
Little Ling had already asked the Divine Brick and learned that they were currently buried deep underground.
Little Ling could extend so of it branches out from the Divine Brick to help with the digging.
After listening to those convey intention through their connection, Li Feng gave Little Ling a strange look.
It seed the Divine Brick and Little Ling had already beco quite close friends.
"I see. Then let’s try it now," he said with a smile.
He didn’t mind accepting Little Ling help at all.
With his daily favor points steadily decreasing, getting out of here sooner was definitely better.
Of course, he still planned to "farm" as many favor points as possible.
Once he escaped, he intended to lurk around Yue Lan from a distance for a while.

Little Ling, already used to his antics, didn’t seem to mind his weird smile at all.
It quickly connected with the Divine Brick and requested it to open a small portal.
The Divine Brick humd softly in agreent.
With a soft creak, one of Little Ling’s smaller branches extended into the air.
It touched an invisible ripple and gradually disappeared into it.
Outside the Divine Brick, thick vines gradually wrapped around its surface as it began to part the earth above with surprising ease, moving through the soil like a fish gliding through water.
The digging speed, which had previously been painfully slow, increased exponentially the mont Little Ling’s branch joined in.
Li Feng snapped out of his daydream when he sensed the sudden change.
He couldn’t help but reach out and gently pat the branch in front of him, praising Little Ling with a bright laugh.

So technically...was he raising a child... or just gardening?
Li Feng’s expression turned a little strange at that thought.
’Do I need to water Little Ling too? And maybe add so fertilizer?’
Just as he was lost in his strange musings, Little Ling’s branch gently wrapped around his hand, demanding his attention.
"Oh? What’s wrong?" he asked curiously, sensing that Little Ling was trying to tell him sothing through their connection.
Then, his eyes brightened as a soft voice suddenly echoed in his mind.
’I... I...’
Li Feng almost jumped in pleasant surprise.
This was the first ti he had ever heard Little Ling speak.
Her voice was soft, beautiful, and youthful... like that of a little girl.
He felt a surge of emotion, almost shedding a tear as if he were watching his own child grow up right before his eyes.
....Even though he had barely done anything, and she had mostly grown on her own inside the Divine Brick.
He gently grasped the branch and encouraged her warmly.
"Co on... go on!"
’I... I... want...’
Li Feng’s smile widened as he waited patiently for her to finish.
But then his smile froze.
’I want to play that shaking ga too!!’
An adorable shout echoed in his mind.

Yue Lan, Goldie, and the rest of the group were traveling back through the forest toward their camp.
Suddenly, everyone halted their steps as Goldie abruptly stopped moving.
Liu Yanyue turned to look at the black-cloaked puppet, which was silently gazing into the distance off to the side.
"Hmm? What’s wrong?" she asked, but received no reply.
Yue Lan also looked curious.
She walked over to Goldie, who turned its head toward her in silence.
"..."
"...I see."
Yue Lan nodded and turned to face the group.
"Goldie wants to check out that direction. It seems to have discovered sothing."
The group stared at Yue Lan strangely.
It was bizarre how she could understand the puppet’s intentions without it uttering a single word.
Shen Jia couldn’t help but ask, "How do you... understand what it wants to say?"
Yue Lan tilted her head and answered as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"I just do?"
Seeing that trying to understand would only cause more confusion, Liu Yanyue sighed and stepped forward.
"Never mind then. Since it found sothing, why don’t we let it go?"
Yue Lan turned to look at Goldie once more before nodding.
"Goldie says it needs to protect , so I have to go with it to check that direction."
She then looked at the rest of the group. "You can head back to the camp first. I’m also curious... apparently, it’s sothing that Li Feng needs."
At the ntion of Li Feng’s na, everyone’s curiosity was instantly piqued, especially Jian Ruyi.
"Well, we can all go together. I want to know what’s over there too," Liu Yanyue said with a smile.
Yue Lan glanced at Goldie again and nodded.
"Goldie doesn’t mind, but it clearly stated that whatever is there belongs to its master."
At that words, Liu Yanyue shook her head lightly.

They both nodded.
Seeing their agreent, Liu Yanyue smiled and looked back at Yue Lan.
"Let’s go then."
Soon, the group changed direction, with Goldie now leading the way.

After several hours of travel, they finally arrived at a wide open clearing.
The mont they stepped into it, everyone’s eyes widened in astonishnt.
What lay before them was a huge lake.
But not an ordinary one... as it was a completely frozen lake.
