Seeing both Lan Suyao and Yue Lan looking at him with puzzled expressions, Li Feng smiled and explained what he had just learned.
"Shadow possesses an ability called ’Sever’. It doesn’t just cut physical things... it can sever space and reality itself. By using ’Sever’, Shadow can cut open a small tear into an alternate Yin Realm... a dark, shadow dinsion that exists parallel to ours. He can hide inside that yin space and observe the real world without being detected."
Li Feng’s voice grew more excited as he continued,
"Everything in this universe contains both yin and yang. Where there is light, there is darkness and our current world leans heavily toward Yang where there light, substance, and life. Shadow, on the other hand, can literally step into the Yin side of reality. That’s why we can’t sense him at all as he’s no longer truly present in the yang world when he hides."
Hearing this, Lan Suyao’s eyes widened slightly.
"So... he can freely move between dinsions?" she asked, still sowhat wary.
"Essentially, yes," Li Feng nodded while looking at Shadow. "Unless Shadow cos out, I’m afraid even a Nascent Soul expert would be helpless against him unless they have the ability to travel between realms."
This ability ant he now had the perfect undetectable spy... and a lethal assassin.
It seed Shadow could also extend its arm to attack just like how it currently popping its head out like this.
Lan Suyao and Yue Lan were both intelligent and powerful cultivators.

Yue Lan also lifted her head, her golden eyes shimring with anticipation as she waited for his answer.
Seeing the eager looks on both won’s faces, Li Feng imdiately knew what these two greedy fairies wanted.
He shook his head with a wry smile.
’Ah, such hardworking fairies... They never want to miss a chance to improve their cultivation. Truly deserving of my respect.’
They had been moaning and lying exhausted just monts ago, yet they were already ready for another session.
