Xie Pan’Er really wanted to just drop dead.
Just monts ago, she had encountered the Xiao Er from the Zhiwei Restaurant in the Pharmacy; his eyes were swollen to an unrecognizable state. Apparently, his eyes were producing constant discharge, and his condition was worsening. The Doctor at the Pharmacy was shaking his head after examining him. He said that such a severe case of trachoma was the worst he had ever seen in his entire life.
Now, Xie Pan’Er’s heart bled as she watched the girl on the Temple roof, her face covered by a black veil.
"Hey! Didn’t you say you were going ho? Why are you here?"
Xiaosuisui gave Xie Pan’Er a cheeky smile.
"Pretty Sister, I ca to help you catch the thief! I heard you shouting ’Catch the thief!’ so I ca."
So it seems I summoned this little terror myself... Xie Pan’Er thought.
She scratched her head in frustration, again entertaining thoughts of just ending it all.
WHOOSH. The little girl jumped down from the roof, startling both Xie Pan’Er and Zhao Fei.
"Hey... don’t do anything rash!" Zhao Fei, nearly dead from fright, blurted out.
However, the little girl had already landed. She glared fiercely at Zhao Fei and opened her mouth to retort, "You’re the one who—MMF! MMF..."
Blinking, Xiaosuisui looked up at the Pretty Sister covering her mouth, her eyes wide with confusion, as if asking, Pretty Sister, why are you covering my mouth?
Xie Pan’Er’s heart pounded. She took a deep breath, her mind racing to the fate of the Xiao Er from the Zhiwei Restaurant and Xie Yingying. She could almost see what would happen if this little brat finished that sentence. This man, despite robbing her, was still a living person, wasn’t he?
"Suisui! This man stole Pretty Sister’s dicinal herbs. Are you very angry with him?"
With her hand still over Xiaosuisui’s mouth, Xie Pan’Er carefully chose her words.
Xiaosuisui nodded vigorously. Xiaobai, the little white rabbit she held, had already started baring its teeth at Xie Pan’Er.

So she just nodded again.

This Pretty Sister wasn’t just beautiful; she understood her completely! It was just like her uncles often said—so people were like those worms in your belly, knowing your every thought.
Xiaosuisui didn’t have ti to ponder exactly what kind of worms those were, because Pretty Sister’s next words greatly intrigued her.
"Let tell you, little treasure, getting angry, resentful, and shouting curses won’t solve anything. If you want to vent and teach soone a lesson, do you know the most direct way?"
Xiaosuisui blinked. "What is it?"
Xie Pan’Er rolled up her sleeves, giving Xiaosuisui a grin like the Big Bad Wolf about to trick Little Red Riding Hood. Then, she threw a punch at Zhao Fei, followed by another, and then three or four more!
As soon as she moved, Zhao Fei instinctively ducked, covering his head with his arms and slowly crouching down to protect himself.
Xiaosuisui watched, dumbfounded.
She nodded.
Yes! I’ve learned sothing new!
