Li Yanyan’s words shocked everyone, not just Xiaosuisui and the National Master.
However, the person who reacted most strongly was not the National Master, nor Xiaosuisui, but Ji Youzhi.

"Do you not understand my words?" the National Master asked gravely, his eyes glacial, a clear sign of his rising anger.
Li Yanyan burst into tears with a WAH and ran back to her room. Just before stepping inside, she turned her head towards the kitchen and shouted, "Li Suisui! I hate you!"

Xiaosuisui, now the target of soone’s inexplicable hatred, swallowed her at with a SLURP. She widened her innocent eyes and let out an uncontrollable hiccup.
"I... I didn’t do anything to provoke her!"

Dugu took out a map. The position he indicated was the sa one the National Master had ntioned. However, their strategies differed: the National Master wanted to divide their forces and break through on two fronts simultaneously, whereas Dugu proposed concentrating all their strength to break through via the narrow path through the thorn bushes.
Ji Youzhi and the Emperor looked at the map without speaking. Puzzled, Dugu asked, "Why are you both silent?"
The Emperor said, "The National Master also intends to break through from this point. However, his idea is to divide our forces into two. He, I, and Suisui will break through from here, while the rest of you will break through from the front."
