Hertz was furious.
"All things in heaven and earth grow naturally. The master of the world is whoever is capable. What right does the Great Han have to occupy the most fertile land of the world, to have the largest population, and even to attract all the Great Confucian Scholars to reside within its borders, establish academies, and teach?"
As soon as Hertz said this, Ji Youze couldn’t help but narrow his eyes slightly.

He gestured to a soldier beside him, who rode over to him as he whispered sothing in his ear.
The soldier widened his eyes and looked up at him.
He waved his hand, "Go!"
Mu Yulin looked at Ji Youze in confusion.
Ji Youze did not respond to him but turned to Hertz, giving a light chuckle.
"Today you intend to attack Xianyu Pass for the third ti, hoping to catch us off guard.
But you never thought that your plan would be seen through by , did you?"
Once Ji Youze spoke these words, Hertz couldn’t keep his composure.
Hertz was inwardly cursing.
If he did not manage to take Xianyu Pass today, Xiling’s provisions would run out, and at most, they could hold on for just three more days before his n would go hungry!
"Who... who exactly are you? How did you see through my plan?"
Hertz, on horseback, pointed at Ji Youze, eyes full of questions.
"More than thirty years ago, there was a young man in white robes, brilliant in horseback skills and possessing exceptional strength. His strategies were unparalleled. The plan you used to bewilder the enemy for ten days and take the city in four or five days was his last strategy used on the battlefield!"
After Ji Youze finished speaking, an expression of disbelief appeared on Hertz’s face.

Even their warhorses beca restless, nearly out of the soldiers’ control.

Ji Youze smiled faintly and asked Hertz across from him.
Hertz did not imdiately respond. The warhorse beneath him was uneasily stepping in place.
"I can see it; you actually don’t want to fight this battle!"
Hertz gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the reins.
"How about I give you a chance?
Today, neither of our armies will move. You and I will have a duel on horseback here. If I win, you will retreat on your own. If I lose, I will not guard the gates of Xianyu Pass today. I will open them wide and welco you with a smile!"
When Ji Youze uttered these words, there was an uproar all around.
Both the soldiers of the Great Han and the armies of Xiling were in an uproar.
Mu Yulin, beside Ji Youze, exclaid, "Are you crazy?"
Ji Youze smiled faintly without explaining why he wanted to do so, rely waving his hand for Mu Yulin to stop interfering.
