Today, he was taking the long route. On top of trying to train his mana endurance this way, he was also practising his Shadow Influence Magic. It was a fascinating thing that was able to affect the mind and the soul. He would not be very wise if he left it unmastered.
And so, while he walked, he would try to quickly shoot a shadow into a random passerby and influence. The effects were varied as he did this.
He made a guard walk into the wall to vent his frustrations.
He made a fruit store owner give fruits to the homeless begging outside and stopped him from being indecisive about his actions.

Overall, it was an effective practice.
