Now reading: Chapter 212 - 201: Galos’ Ambition from A Dragon against the Whole World, a Fantasy novel by Tang Song Yuan Ming Hydrogen.

"The jackal-wolf folk and kobolds I first brought to the Molten Iron Tribe have all perished."

Seeing Hodgson’s death, Iron Dragon Solrog also felt sowhat wistful.

"These creatures are truly insignificant and fragile... In our long lives, our followers will iterate again and again, new replacing the old, the cycle of life and death, with only the sa sun rising and setting, unchanging throughout the ages."

Galos gazed towards the sun, radiating light and heat.

He shook his head and slowly spoke, "Even stars have a day when their light extinguishes, their energy burns out, turning into cosmic dust, not unchanging throughout the ages."

The voice paused for a mont.

The pupils of the Red Iron Dragon narrowed slightly, and in a deep voice, he said, "Only those Divine Spirits worshipped and revered by countless souls, or powerful beings whose strength rivals the gods, can truly be eternal, ignoring the passage of ti, and existing immortally."

Galos asked himself.

Fighting against oneself, against others, against the heavens and the earth... growing step by step.

Strenuous and cautious, like treading on thin ice.

Is it to turn into dust and ashes at the end of life?

No!

He wanted more.

Ambition and desire surged within him, and the Red Iron Dragon rarely interfered, letting them fernt and boil, turning into a seed taking root deep within, gradually sprouting.

Not long after, when noon arrived.

Solrog left Dragon Valley to prepare against the Golden Tooth Tribe. Since the Golden Tooth Tribe wanted to engage in a trade war rather than a bloody conflict, the Iron Dragon was pleased to toy with them in return.

Galos took a deep breath, slowly turning his neck to the right.

Crack, crack, crack... his cervical vertebrae made a burdened crackling sound, sending waves of piercing pain. Galos stopped, then changed direction, turning to the left.

Thanks to years of training, his neck was strong, covered with spines and thick scales.

But this also created a disadvantage.

His neck wasn’t flexible enough to turn 180 degrees to bite behind him like other long-necked dragons.

Therefore, besides regular neck strengthening exercises, Galos added new neck-turning exercises, frequent head-shaking, and more to improve neck sensitivity.

Now, the daylight was bright, an ideal ti for training.

Having slept for a long ti, Galos eagerly and diligently trained, without taking any rest.

Slowly, ti passed into deep night.

With the night sky thick and cool breezes blowing, it was still a good ti for training.

The Red Iron Dragon continued without stopping until the horizon brightened with dawn, and golden sunlight spread across Dragon Valley.

After nearly a day and night of training, it should be ti to rest.

However.

With dawn just breaking, the air fresh, it remained an excellent ti for training.

After eating, the Red Iron Dragon drank a barrel of black oil, then continued training, calling upon a group of flying dragons and the Violent Bear Group to spar with him, taking the opportunity before the Cold Burst Scale grew to train the underlying black-red scale armor.

He seed unable to feel fatigue or pain.

No, more accurately, he enjoyed this feeling.

Other dragons occasionally conceived the idea of training but would abandon it for various reasons, while Galos instead found various reasons to train his body and remained unwilling to indulge in leisure.

From the initial pain and tornt.

To gradually adapting and getting used to it.

Then transforming into present-day enjoynt and imrsion.

Whether out of necessity or self-adaptation... Galos underwent a significant change in mindset.

After two continuous days and nights of various workouts, the Red Iron Dragon’s chest rose and fell dramatically. He imrsed his body in the lake, the almost burning scales and the cold water creating a sizzling sound, forming boiling bubbles.

A mont later, he leaped out of the water.

"Should I drink a barrel of black oil to invigorate myself, then continue for a while?"

Feeling the fatigue and soreness in his body, Galos slowly exhaled, dismissing the thought.

Too much is as bad as too little.

He needed to rest.

Having consud a large amount of food delivered by his followers, and swallowed three Magic Gemstones in one go, the Red Iron Dragon closed his eyes, resting upon an elevated rock slab, basking in the sunlight for a brief nap.

Three days and nights later, the Red Iron Dragon awoke under the cover of night.

He was spirited, brimming with vitality, and his entire Cold Burst Scales had grown out, the deep black rging with the night, with silver edges flowing like moonlight, glimring brightly.

"It’s ti to deal with the Wild Monster Lords rooted in the southwest."

The Red Iron Dragon unfolded his massive, powerful wings, and with a gentle flap, he whipped up a fierce gale. His majestic body tore through the air, shooting into the sky. Even without using Montum Surge to accelerate, his normal wing strokes were incredibly quick.

In the blink of an eye, the Red Iron Dragon vanished into the night.

In the southwest of the Border Area, Sword Cliff.

The terrain of the Border Area is predominantly plains, making the cliff that juts skyward like a sword’s edge exceptionally conspicuous. However, the fertile soil and the presence of vast greenery and streams naturally attract herds of beasts to dwell here.

A Cave Lion was crouched low, drinking water, its tail straight and tense.

Its body length was about five ters, with sharp teeth and claws, and robust muscles, marking it as a predator, but it remained cautious and vigilant, its ears twitching occasionally, never forgetting to catch every movent in the surroundings as it drank.

On this harsh land, predators stronger than it were everywhere.

It needed to be cautious; it had to be cautious.

At that mont, the water surface suddenly rippled, forming specks of scale-like light under the moonlight.

The Cave Lion caught the scent of danger, its muscles tensing instantly, and it leaped backward like lightning.

With a splash—water sprayed everywhere as an iron-cast giant crocodile lunged from the water, its jaws clashing, sparks flying, and emitting a heavy crunching sound.

With a cold glance at the Cave Lion, the Iron Crocodile retreated back into the water, not pursuing onto land.

Having dodged the underwater ambush, the Cave Lion turned with silent, nimble steps, when suddenly, overhead, it darkened as if the moonlight was blotted out by so colossal creature.

It beca wary again, preparing to flee.

But just as it leaped up, it felt a sharp pain, as claws like blades pierced its flesh, gripping its bones.

A dragon-like head darted out, biting its neck, with lion-like and goat-like heads simultaneously biting its spine.

Crunch!

With the crisp sound of bones snapping, the Cave Lion’s body instantly went limp, losing all strength to resist.

The imnse, distorted monster flapped its wings, lifting the heavy body of the Cave Lion, and landed on the open nest at the top of Sword Cliff.

Roar!

Roar!

Roar!

The mixed roars of three distinct voices echoed around the cliff, causing every creature that heard them to tremble in fear.

And under the moonlit glow, the monster’s true form was revealed.

This creature had the hindquarters of a goat and the forequarters of a lion, along with dragon wings and three heads: a horned goat head, a frenzied lion head, and a fierce dragon head.

Wild Monster Lord—the Chira.

The goat head rendered it chaotic and evil like a demon, the dragon head made it extrely greedy and belligerent, and the lion head endowed it with an extraordinary lust for slaughter.

Moreover, it belonged to the Sub-dragon class, possessing so Dragon Race bloodline within.

The Chira’s heads might resemble red, blue, green, black, white... any of the Five-Colored Dragon heads, and possess similarly capable breath attacks.

As the Lord of Sword Cliff, this Chira.

Its dragon head was almost identical to that of a Red Dragon, marking it as the most powerful Red-headed Chira.

Being able to occupy such a conspicuous and abrupt place like Sword Cliff and build its nest at the very top, its power was imaginable. Its gigantic body had surpassed the normal range of Chiras, making it an exceptional individual.

The three heads tore into the Cave Lion’s flesh and blood together.

Their actions were orderly, without infighting.

This indicated that even though it had multiple heads, unlike the Two-headed Ogres, possessing different thoughts, all of the Chira’s heads were governed by a single consciousness.

"Such a deford and disgusting form surely isn’t the natural progeny of so Giant Dragon."

The Red Iron Dragon gazed down from high above at the Wild Monster Lord, instinctively showing disdain and aversion.

According to inherited records, there are two main theories about the origin of Chiras.

One is that they were created by a Demon Lord imitating the Dragon Race.

The other is that they are dragon descendants birthed from the licentiousness of Giant Dragons.

Upon seeing the Chira, Galos leaned toward the first theory.
