Aksai gave a small nod to the Blackblood Lord.

He understood. He would need to be ready.

Aksai looked at the Blackblood Lord and asked.

"Master Blackblood, if you knew that the Yaksha Lord had deeper sches," Aksai said slowly, "why did you still agree to his deal?"

The Blackblood Lord gave a light smile, his eyes reflecting a strange mix of wisdom and tiredness.

"Because," he said, "to destroy the Yaksha Lord's sect, I would have to sacrifice the well-being of my own sect. I'd want to avoid such scenarios of mutual destruction if I could. Especially during this ti when the demonic faction is at its weakest and the righteous faction is keeping an eye on us. What's the use of hurting your enemy if you end up hurting yourself more?"

He paused, then added, "But that's not the only reason I agreed to his demands."

He reached into his sleeve and pulled out a small glass vial. Inside it was a clear, pearl-like pill that shimred faintly in the light. He placed it gently on the table, letting Aksai see it clearly.

"I also agreed to the treaty because, just like him, I needed to buy ti. A breather for my sect. A chance for my children to grow without being caught in war."

Aksai's eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the pill. He recognized it right away.

"The Spirit Nirvana Pill. So you want to make use of the pill," he said after a short pause.

This pill is incredible. If Haitin uses it, his chances of entering the Core Formation realm will rise by at least fifty percent. Maybe even more, depending on how much he can refine its effects.

But all of this will take ti. After all, even if Haitin manages to improve his Spirit Root Aptitude by leaps and bounds, he won't be able to reach the boundary of the Foundation Building realm anyti soon. It would take him even more ti to establish a firm enough foundation to initiate the breakthrough condition.

Still, using the pill on Haitin right away is indeed a right choice."

His voice was steady, but there was a hint of respect in his tone.

Still, Aksai didn't ask for the pill. He knew better. His master had already given him enough. Asking for more, especially sothing as rare and powerful as the Spirit Nirvana Pill, would only make him feel like a greedy beggar.

The Blackblood Lord saw the thought in Aksai's eyes and chuckled softly.

"You're right about the pill," he said, picking it up again and holding it between his fingers.

"Haha. Boy, you keep giving surprises. Never knew you had so accomplishnts in alchemy as well. I would have taken you in as my real direct disciple and trained you for years if I wasn't dying."

He smiled again—this ti, a little more mysteriously.

"But who said I took this pill for Haitin?"

Aksai blinked, clearly caught off guard.

"What do you an?" he asked, confused. "Haitin is the most talented Spirit cultivator in the Blackblood Sect. He's the future of the sect. And you're dying. The pill is of no use to you, so who else could it be for?"

The Blackblood Lord didn't answer right away. Instead, he stood up from his chair and tucked the pill vial back into his sleeve. He turned toward a long corridor that stretched into the darker parts of the palace.

"Follow ," he said calmly.

Aksai stood up, curiosity growing in his chest. The Blackblood Lord's steps were slow but sure, his presence still commanding even as his life energy flickered faintly like an old fla.

They walked side by side, leaving behind the warm light of the tea room and stepping into a colder, quieter part of the palace.

Aksai stepped in behind him for a while… and stopped.

It was a wide, open hall with no ceiling. Moonlight poured in from above, painting the floor in silver light. The walls, tall and circular, were lined with glowing inscriptions.

At the center of the hall was a massive, intricate Yantra– a Spirit formation ant to enhance the effects of the cultivation.

Dozens of layered rings, filled with strange symbols, arrows, and geotric shapes, were etched into the stone floor. The lines pulsed gently, as if breathing.

It was a 3rd Order Yantra. A custom-made Spirit formation built to gather and refine spiritual essence from the surroundings in a particular way.

Only Core Formation Lords could use sothing like this. It was complex, delicate, and extrely difficult to maintain. Even in the Big Five righteous sects, such Yantras were rare treasures.

Aksai's eyes widened. He took a step closer, awe written all over his face.

"Master…" he asked quietly, turning to look at the Blackblood Lord. "Do you cultivate here?"

The old man gave a soft laugh and shook his head. Then, he pointed toward the center of the formation, right in the middle of a circle filled with tightly packed Essence Equation runes.

Aksai followed the gesture. For a mont, he didn't see anything unusual—just the runes. But then, he noticed sothing. Or rather… soone.

There was a figure sitting cross-legged in the center of the Yantra.

"Hm? Is soone there? Wait, who is–"

It took Aksai several seconds to realize it was a person.

At first glance, it looked like a trick of light, like glass catching the moonlight. But slowly, his eyes adjusted, and he saw the outline of a body.

The figure was mostly transparent, like it was made of living glass. The shape of her body shimred faintly, light bending and curving around her.

Aksai stared in disbelief.

She was beautiful, even in this strange state. Though he couldn't see her face clearly, the curves and softness of her form told him she was a woman.

Her clothes, too, had turned transparent like her skin.

But they still wrapped around her carefully, preserving her dignity and adding an eerie beauty to her already dream-like appearance.

Then, the pressure hit him.

The pressure of a Core Formation Lord– full of vigour and vitality.

Despite her peculiar physique, she was a once-in-a-thousand-years monstrous genius of the Dadangar Subcontinent.
