Chapter 571: Fortune Flas P2

Aksai’s Spirit Sense traced every pulse of energy within Shuan’s body.

The firm rhythm of his Spirit Essence, the steady circulation through the newly ford Dantian, the smooth connection between his ridians and veins.

It was all far more refined than Aksai had expected.

Aksai’s brows twitched slightly.

‘His foundation…’ he thought, a quiet sigh echoing in his mind.

‘It’s solid. No, it’s better than what I had when I first entered this realm. So that’s the difference between soone with an ordinary Spirit Root and a true genius born with a natural high-grade Spirit aptitude. Even with my experience, I can see the quality of his Spirit essence—it’s pure and vibrant.’

He pulled back his Spirit Sense slowly, his expression as unreadable as ever. Outwardly, Aksai only gave a light cough before saying, “Not bad, Shuan. I guess investing my ti and efforts in you wasn’t a complete loss.”

Shuan’s grin widened at the comnt. Even though Aksai’s words sounded faintly teasing, he knew better—his master didn’t give praise lightly. The young man’s chest swelled with pride, and despite the bruises and cuts, he looked genuinely happy.

“I… I was just lucky to encounter a few fortuitous opportunities,” Shuan said, scratching the back of his head and laughing awkwardly. His flying spear lay so distance away, still tangled in a few stubborn vines, but he didn’t seem to care.

Aksai gave him a small nod, the faint trace of a smile still on his lips. “Luck favors those who are prepared,” he replied quietly, glancing at the Bloodfiends in the distance who were now standing motionless like statues. “Though from the looks of it, you still need to work on your defence.”

Shuan chuckled sheepishly. “Heh… I’ll keep that in mind, Master.”

Aksai was about to take Shuan to Shamrock Peak so that he could et with others. However, sothing clicked in his mind at this point. The young man’s words about his “fortuitous opportunities” made Aksai a bit curious.

‘Hmm? He wasn’t a firm believer of fate when he left. It seems he really found so good luck when he went outside. Let check,’ Aksai thought to himself, his expression calm but his mind alert.

Without moving or making a sound, a faint shimr flashed across Aksai’s forehead for a brief mont — invisible to most eyes. His Astral Third Eye had opened.

The eye wasn’t physical; it existed half in the spiritual plane, half in the real one. Even if soone stood right before him, they wouldn’t notice anything unusual unless they were sensitive to minute Spirit fluctuations.

Through this invisible sight, the world around Aksai seed to shift. The air thickened with faint ripples, and all things appeared to carry a shadow — a phantom of their spirit essence. Around these shadows burned faint flas, each in a different color and intensity. These were the Fortune Flas — reflections of one’s fate, chance, and luck.

Aksai had been using this newly awakened ability a lot in recent days. He had checked disciples, rchants, cultivators, even stray wanderers in the streets — observing the patterns and brightness of their Fortune Flas, trying to understand how fate marked each person differently. Over ti, he had ford his own way of classifying them.

Colorless flas, like his own, ant blank fortune — neither lucky nor unlucky, a wandering state where fate didn’t intervene unless pulled by sothing external.

White flas were the most common. They belonged to the masses — commoners, rchants, minor cultivators. So burned brighter, hinting at modest opportunities or wealth, but most flickered weakly.

Black flas were rare and troubling. They marked cultivators whose paths were filled with danger, betrayal, and struggle — fates with more pain than reward.

Green flas were the next step up — the mark of small achievents, good encounters, and mild favor from fate.

Then ca blue flas — rare, mysterious, and powerful. Aksai had seen them only once before, surrounding the Frostbound Lord himself. He had thought of this color as the mark of those destined to stand out — the “side-characters of fate,” as he liked to call them. Those whose lives intertwined with the great tides of destiny, influencing others, guiding the flow of events even without realizing it.

And beyond that — magenta flas. The true “main characters” of fate, the ones destined for great upheavals and imnse fortunes. He had seen that only once, and it was around Nuya. That discovery had been one of the reasons he hadn’t stopped her from leaving the Dadangar Subcontinent.

Aksai was sure that there were more types of and sub-types of Fortune Flas that he was unaware of just because he hadn’t co in contact with those who possess it.

After studying and practicing the Fortune Telling Arts for a few days, he had barely scratched on the surface. He was still in the process of creating a standard unit of asurent for fortune levels.

The Spirit farr had assigned this task to Neural Link Fabric, which was collecting real-ti data silently to quantify sothing that was supposed to be unquantifiable.

As such, Aksai was yet to fully grasp the details of fates assigned to each possessor of fortune flas. However, his elentary classification thod was still enough to identify those with better fortune levels than an average Spirit cultivator using his special vision.

As the invisible Astral Eye gazed upon Shuan, Aksai froze.

Surrounding Shuan’s black phantom was a bright, vibrant blue fla. It burned steadily, thick and deep in color, as if nourished by unseen forces. The fla was not only beautiful but also stable, with no trace of corruption or flicker.

Aksai couldn’t help but smile. ‘He… he really is a diamond in the rough,’ he thought, impressed. ‘The sa fortune level as the Frostbound Lord? I truly underestimated this kid. He’s not just talented — he’s favored by fate itself.

Makes wonder if the kid got a high-grade Spirit Root Aptitude because he had blue fortune fla or it was the other way round. Either way, this is a good thing– not just for him but for as well.’
