Reymon lowered his head for a mont, thinking through every choice he had left.
He rembered his family, his dead warriors, his plans, and the future of Sharang.
No matter how he looked at it, Aksai was not just a strong person—he was soone who changed the rules of the world around him.
Becoming Aksai’s disciple was not a sha. In fact, it might be the best chance he would ever get to defeat the corrupted druids and protect the land he vowed to guard. He took a slow breath, letting go of the last bit of pride tied to his past failures.
Then, with steady steps, Reymon walked in front of Aksai, who was still seated calmly with his hands folded. Reymon bent down and placed one knee firmly on the cracked ground. He lowered his head and cupped his fists with both hands, his voice serious and respectful.
"Master, please guide this disciple."
His face did not show fear, only determination. Even though Aksai looked much younger, Reymon did not hesitate. In their world, age ant nothing. Strength, wisdom, and ability decided seniority.

Aksai already knew about Sharang’s realm-based restrictions. After all, he had found it extrely difficult to enter Sharang even with the divine artifact’s help when he ca here as a late-stage Foundation Establishnt expert.
This was why he had always been certain that this visit would probably be his last personal trip to Sharang. He would have to suppress his own cultivation to the Foundation Establishnt realm with such a finesse that he would be able to fill the semi-slumbering consciousness of Sharang’s World Will in order to enter. But why would he do that?
Now that he had achieved everything he ca for, it was ti to leave. Yet, Aksai didn’t want to depart without making Reymon his disciple and, eventually, his ally. There was a good reason to do so.
He had seen Reymon through his Astral Vision using his Third Astral Eye casually just for the sake of it. When he did, even though he didn’t show it on his face, Aksai was shocked to discover that Reymon’s Fortune Fla was even rarer than Nuya’s.
If Nuya’s fortune gave her the luck of a main character, then Reymon’s current fortune was destined to make him the protagonist of his own world. The man was like a Son of Heaven, as if his howorld itself treated him as such.
It was as though Sharang’s World Will was guiding Reymon onto a path to elevate the martial arts civilization of the world. He was Sharang’s legendary hero who was supposed to carry the burden of the whole world on his shoulders.
Even the struggles he faced in his life were put in place to make him stronger. His misfortunes were put in place to beco his greatest fortunes so day.
With such luck blessing him, Reymon was bound to achieve far more and might even free his howorld from the curse of the corrupted druids. And if he survived the corrupted druids’ wrath, his future achievents would be unimaginable.
Aksai had no intention of harming a man like this. He would be stupid to do so.
Firstly, it would give him no benefits. His ego might be satisfied but that alone won’t give him pleasure for long.
Secondly, he would lose a potential ally against the corrupted druids, should they ever beco a threat to him in the future. Like he had already said, he wanted Reymon to beco his pawn in a sense that he would act as a front for him against the corrupted druids.
Thirdly, Aksai didn’t want to worsen his own luck by killing a Son of Heaven, as he could deduce that there would definitely be repercussions for interfering with a fate personally arranged by the World Will of Sharang.
Lastly, if he chose to help Reymon now, he might be rewarded in the future. If he could learn to even temporarily harness soone else’s luck, Aksai would be able to avoid many mishaps that might co his way.
Thus, Aksai decided to take Reymon under his wing, ensuring that even fate itself would be forced to bless him through his connection with Reymon.

"Master, please guide this disciple."
Aksai watched Reymon quietly, without surprise or excitent. His eyes remained calm, as if he had already known this would happen after offering him so many benefits.
The ruins around them were silent, the wind carrying only faint smoke and dust. The entire land bore witness to the mont when a forr enemy lowered his pride and chose a new path.
Aksai slowly rose from his chair, his long robe brushing against the stone platform as he walked toward Reymon. His steps were calm, steady, and without emotion.
He stopped right in front of Reymon. His voice was cold and quiet, but every word carried a heavy weight.
"Are you sure, Reymon? I will help you with everything I can. But most of the battle against the corrupted druids will be yours to face alone.
"And when your duty here is complete, I may ask you to leave your world behind and follow my orders instead. One day, you will have to repay the help I gave you."
Reymon lifted his face a little, listening carefully. He did not show any sign of doubt. His heart was calm, filled with a strange mixture of pain and purpose.
He thought about Aksai’s words slowly, not because he had doubts, but because he wanted to fully understand the weight he was accepting. Instead of fear or worry, a light of deep resolve ford in his eyes.
He was glad that Aksai spoke the truth in an upfront manner. If Aksai had said he wanted nothing in return, or tried to act kind without reason, Reymon would have seen it as a hidden trap.
A person with true power never gives sothing for free. Aksai’s honesty made Reymon feel safe.
It proved that Aksai was not planning to treat him like a "pawn" in a usual sense, but like a disciple who must earn everything he is given.
