Now reading: Chapter 813: Taming the Void Gu P1 from A Farmer's Journey To Immortality, a Action novel by Grayback.

Yelia looked surprised hearing that.

"Affinity?"

Aksai nodded slowly.

"When I feed my senses into the pond... I don’t feel hostility."

"Instead..."

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

"It feels almost natural."

Yelia looked toward the glowing pond again. Her expression remained worried.

"My liege, instincts can sotis be dangerous."

Aksai lightly shrugged.

"And sotis they lead to opportunities."

Without waiting further, he once again spread waves of Spirit Sense, Qi Sense, and Aether Sense toward the pond.

The mont the invisible waves touched the Void Water—

The countless tiny azure lights beneath the dark surface imdiately brightened again. The pond looked like a galaxy waking up slowly. It was as if one was witnessing the birth of a creation in the pitch black of boundless cosmos.

Yelia’s expression beca even more tense.

"My liege..."

But Aksai did not stop. Instead, he quietly observed the reactions of the Void Gu while thinking deeply.

Ordinary gu insect taming thods were clearly useless here. After all, Void Gu were not normal gu insects. They did not possess ordinary flesh. Nor did they possess ordinary souls.

They were strange existences born from fragnted spatial laws and broken consciousness accumulated over countless years.

Yet strangely enough—

That was exactly why Aksai believed his idea might work. His eyes slowly beca thoughtful.

’All living beings who die in Dadangar eventually return to the world itself,’ he thought inwardly.

’Their consciousness dissolves into ti, space, and worldly laws.’

’That ans the consciousness forming these Void Gu cannot possibly co from one source.’

’So fragnts may belong to beasts.’

’So may belong to cultivators.’

’So may belong to things that no longer even exist.’

The more Aksai thought about it, the more reasonable his theory sounded. Void Gu were not "pure" gu insects. They were closer to fragnted consciousness gathered around spatial laws before rging with them.

And if mixed consciousness were the basis of their creation—

Then perhaps his Druid Blessing could still affect them.

A faint smile slowly appeared on his face. His Beast Taming ability did not rely target flesh and blood creatures. At its core, it targeted instinct, emotion, and consciousness.

As long as sothing possessed even the faintest trace of those things, the blessing could potentially interact with it. Even if the target was abnormal. Even if the target did not fully qualify as a beast.

Yelia quickly noticed the look in his eyes. Her expression changed slightly.

"My liege... you are not thinking about using Beast Taming on them, are you?"

Aksai grinned lightly.

"I am."

Yelia imdiately looked alard.

"That is far too risky. The Druid’s Blessing Beast Taming might not put a burden on your consciousness when you are dealing with the demon beasts.

"Even Dao Beasts could be managed sohow as long as they are willing to cooperate. Seralyth was an exception among exceptions but we can still understand why it worked. But the Void Gu– they are neither gu nor beasts. There’s a possibility that your soul would get hard by using the blessing on all of them at once."

"Maybe," Aksai admitted calmly.

"But I don’t think these things fully follow the distinctions of ordinary lifeforms. So why should I follow ordinary logic while dealing with them?

"Plus, as you said, they don’t have a defined Order. From my point of view, that’s a good thing. It ans that soone like who is rely a 3rd Spirit realm cultivator can also ta them as long as I et certain requirents. And now as soone who has rediscovered their existence on the Dadangar Subcontinent for the first ti in a long while, isn’t it my right to know what those requirents are?"

The azure glow from the pond reflected across Aksai’s silver eyes. At this mont, he no longer looked tired from battle. Instead, he looked excited. Like a scholar who had suddenly discovered sothing completely unknown.

Aksai slowly closed his eyes.

The Druid Blessing hidden inside his bloodline quietly activated. A calm aura slowly spread from his body.

The mont this aura spread outward, the glowing Void Gu inside the pond suddenly reacted more intensely than before. The countless tiny azure "stars" beneath the dark surface began flickering rapidly. So of them even started slowly moving toward Aksai’s direction.

Yelia’s eyes widened instantly.

"My liege..."

Even she had not expected such a quick reaction.

anwhile, Aksai slowly opened his eyes again. A faint look of realization appeared on his face.

"...I knew it," he muttered softly.

"They really can sense the blessing."

Soon sothing changed. The countless glowing clusters inside the pond slowly started moving upward. One by one, tiny points of azure light rose from the dark surface of the Void Water.

Ripples spread silently across the black pond. Then more lights erged.

And more.

And more.

Within monts, a huge swarm of glowing particles floated above the pond.

The sight looked unreal.

The Void Gu resembled countless sparkling dust particles drifting through the air. They looked like tiny fireflies reduced to microscopic size before being released in endless swarms.

The underground darkness around the platform beca filled with floating azure lights. Yelia’s eyes widened slightly.

"They’re actually willing to leave the Void Water Pond..."

The countless Void Gu slowly drifted toward Aksai. They moved steadily. As if drawn toward him naturally.

Aksai narrowed his eyes slightly but remained still. His druidic aura continued spreading outward softly while waves of his extra senses continued feeding the Void Gu.

The tiny glowing particles gathered around him more and more. Soon, the first few landed on his clothes.

From his hands, neck, and feet, Aksai imdiately beca covered in azure light. His entire body now looked as though it had been bathed in starlight.

The glowing Void Gu crawled all over him calmly. Yelia’s expression beca increasingly tense.

"My liege..."

At first, nothing happened.

Aksai carefully observed his own body.

No pain. No poison attacks usually associated with the gu. No hostile reaction.

The Void Gu simply continued covering him quietly.

But then—

Aksai’s expression shifted slightly.
