The Beast Taming blessing imdiately transmitted waves of emotions back to Aksai.
Excitent. Dependence. Longing.
The Void Gu greedily absorbed more of his cultivation energies.
His Spirit Essence was used to stabilize their existence. His Aurous Qi gave them tiny physical forms born from pure energy and matter.
anwhile, his Aether Essence strengthened their fragnted consciousness, slowly turning their instincts into individual wills.
The Void Gu were a strange existence. They were supposed to be alive, and yet they could not truly be counted among the living. This was because they possessed neither intact bodies nor complete souls.
Even though the Void Gu did not have complete minds, their instincts told them that they were incomplete beings. They truly wished to step into the world of the living by obtaining complete souls and bodies.
Aksai took advantage of these instincts using his druidic blessing in order to ta them. The result was far better than he had expected.
Inside Aksai’s body, the countless microscopic Void Gu slowly beca more complete. The azure radiance shining from his body also beca brighter and brighter.
At this point, Aksai no longer looked human. He looked like a humanoid figure made from countless stars floating inside endless darkness.
Even Yelia beca silent after witnessing the scene.
Because she realized sothing shocking that she couldn’t imagine before.
Aksai was unknowingly helping the Void Gu evolve into sothing entirely new.
Or perhaps... This was how the Void Gu were originally supposed to be raised in order to truly make use of them.
A few minutes passed.
The glowing Void Gu continued moving wildly inside Aksai’s body for so ti.
Azure light flowed beneath his flesh like countless tiny stars drifting through a dark night sky. At the sa ti, traces of golden and purple radiance mixed together with the azure glow, making his body look mysterious and unreal.
Aksai could clearly feel his Spirit Essence, Aurous Qi, and Aether Essence being consud continuously.
However, after a while—
The consumption slowly started decreasing.
Aksai imdiately noticed the change.
"Hm?"
His eyes narrowed slightly.
The Void Gu no longer devoured his energies with the sa hunger as before. Their emotions had also changed greatly through the Beast Taming blessing.
The previous longing and desperation had weakened.
In its place—
A strange feeling of satisfaction appeared. The countless tiny consciousnesses inside his body suddenly beca calr.
Then, one by one—
The Void Gu started leaving his body.
Tiny clusters of azure light floated out through his skin gently like glowing mist escaping from his flesh. They couldn’t be stopped when they entered his body. And they also couldn’t be stopped when they wanted to leave.
Aksai frowned slightly after seeing this. The Void Gu did not show any attachnt toward him anymore. They simply floated outside after obtaining what they wanted.
So drifted around his shoulders. So circled above his head lazily. Others danced around the Void Water Pond like playful fireflies.
At this point, the Void Gu no longer looked dangerous at all. Instead, they looked like tiny children who had finally eaten their fill and now wanted to run around and play freely.
"These an little things. They are... shaless."
Aksai quickly understood what had happened and cursed them.
The Beast Taming blessing had only worked because the Void Gu instinctively desired sothing from him. Now that they had obtained enough energy to complete part of their existence, those instincts had temporarily beco satisfied.
And once those instincts faded—
The influence of Beast Taming weakened greatly as well.
Aksai’s expression slowly beca thoughtful.
"So this is the disadvantage of controlling beings driven purely by instincts," he muttered quietly.
"They are easy to attract... but just as easy to lose."
Unlike normal beasts or spirit creatures, the Void Gu did not possess stable emotions, loyalty, or proper intelligence. They only followed their deepest desires. Once those desires were fulfilled, they naturally lost interest.
Aksai tried circulating more Spirit Essence toward them. The nearby Void Gu reacted slightly. So glanced toward him curiously. But none of them returned to his body willingly.
Aksai then released more Beast Taming aura. The Void Gu only floated around happily without much reaction. They had already received what they wanted. At least for now.
"The druidic powers work on them. But only temporarily. What should I do now?"
Since he had not used any proper gu taming thods on them, he had no true control over these strange creatures.
Everything that happened until now had only been based on instinctive attraction. And instinctive attraction alone was clearly not enough to bind them permanently.
’He failed? No... rather... my liege.... His success was short-lived. I don’t want to be rude to my liege but... thank... thank the heavens.’
Yelia finally let out a long breath of relief after seeing the Void Gu leave Aksai safely. Her tense expression relaxed greatly.
"My liege..." she said softly.
"Failure.... Failures are part and parcel of life. I’m just glad you are unhard."
She truly did not care anymore whether the Void Water Pond could be taken away or not. Compared to Aksai’s safety, those things were aningless.
The Void Gu were simply too strange and dangerous. Even now, Yelia still felt lingering fear after witnessing Aksai allow millions of Void Gu to enter his body willingly.
Fortunately—
The result had not turned disastrous. At least not yet.
Aksai narrowed his eyes slightly. He looked at the way Yelia breathed a sigh of relief and frowned faintly. However, he did not say anything to her because he understood that her worries ca from genuine care.
Still, he did not want to give up so easily.
Yelia was his helper, not his commanding officer. He did not need to follow everything she said. Sotis, emotions could blur one’s judgnt.
It was understandable for Yelia to avoid the Void Gu. As an Artifact Spirit, her strength could no longer improve unless the artifact itself was remodeled.
But Aksai was different.
He was a Spirit cultivator.
He did not want to let fear make his cultivation journey stagnate when such an excellent opportunity for explosive growth stood right in front of him.
Thus, a small setback ant nothing to Aksai. Especially after he had already discovered how valuable these strange creatures truly were.
Millions of living fragnts born from spatial laws themselves. How could he possibly abandon sothing like this? His mind imdiately started moving rapidly.
One thought after another flashed through his head.
Beast Taming.
Slave marks.
Gu taming thods.
Formation logic.
Soul imprinting.
Suddenly—
A new idea ford inside his mind. A faint smile appeared on Aksai’s face.
"Nuri," he called inwardly.
The next mont, spectral notifications imdiately appeared before his vision.
[Awaiting command, master.]
Aksai’s eyes sharpened.
"Derive a thod to ta these Void Gu using the soul-based techniques we use to create slave marks. Also combine it with the gu taming thods we obtained from Arkaal’s apothecary."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Use the Heavenly Poison Sect database to fill in the missing parts. I need a completely new thod."
The spectral notifications flickered rapidly.
Aksai continued calmly.
"This thod should not only control the Void Gu themselves, but also control how they exist."
His gaze moved toward the floating azure lights around him.
"I want control over their ethereal state and their material state. I want to control every action they take."
The mont the command was given—
Nuri imdiately started processing.
Countless spectral notifications flooded Aksai’s vision.
[Decoding gu taming thods...]
[Comparing soul imprint techniques...]
[Integrating Heavenly Poison Sect database...]
[Building compatible neural structures...]
[Searching for behavioral synchronization thods...]
Massive amounts of information started flowing through Aksai’s consciousness continuously. His head instantly beca heavy. The processing burden was terrifying.
Aksai felt as if his brain was heating up from fever. Pain slowly spread through his temples. His vision even beca blurry for a brief mont.
"Damn..."
Aksai inhaled deeply and steadied himself. Then another idea appeared in his mind.
Without hesitation, he summoned Verdant Elder. Blue light spread beside him as the giant tortoise-shaped Aether Beast slowly appeared.
The mont Verdant Elder manifested—
Nuri imdiately connected to it through the neural link fabric.
Thankfully, Aksai already knew how to use his Aether Beast as a secondary processing unit. Although Verdant Elder was nowhere near as intelligent as Aksai, its spiritual structure and neural pathways could still be used for calculations and analysis.
The overload inside Aksai’s mind instantly decreased slightly. A large amount of the processing burden was redirected toward Verdant Elder instead.
The giant tortoise imdiately looked sowhat absentminded. Its ethereal eyes beca dull briefly as enormous amounts of information started passing through it continuously.
anwhile, the spectral notifications continued appearing rapidly.
[Creating hybrid taming structure...]
[Testing behavioral imprint model...]
[Failure.]
[Retrying...]
[Integrating networking concepts...]
[Reconstructing hierarchy system...]
Ti slowly passed.
The Void Gu continued floating peacefully around Aksai while Nuri worked endlessly.
More than an hour eventually passed.
Finally—
The spectral notifications suddenly stabilized.
Then a new ssage appeared.
[Compatible Void Gu control thod successfully derived.]
Aksai’s eyes brightened instantly.
He quickly started reading the details.
