The woman looked at Leander like she truly didn’t understand his words.
But from Leander’s point of view, what she was saying made no sense at all.
"I told you I don’t need help. Leave now or die. Choose."
"W-what’s wrong with you? We’re trying to free you! That human—"
"Shut up. I’ll kill you."

Not only did she refuse to listen, she continued insulting Qiong Xing.
Leander glared at her and she imdiately fell silent with a small scream.
"What should we do with them?" Albe asked.
Because Qiong Xing was present, Albe had probably thought about it carefully.

Leander froze in shock.
He chased after her imdiately, but he was a few seconds too late.
His eyes were locked on the knife that was about to strike down.

Leander was still surprised by the calmness in Qiong Xing’s voice.
But in the next mont, he saw the woman lying on the ground.
Beside her stood Qiong Xing, holding sothing that looked like a stick.
"One must never let their guard down until the very end, right?" Qiong Xing said with a gentle smile.
He looked the sa as always, smiling warmly.
But since the woman was now on the ground, it was obvious that Qiong Xing had been the one who defeated her.

Leander’s words made it clear, it was their own fault.
