At this mont, Li Ye could not find any words to express his shock.

On the deck of this Mobile City, the goblins marched in perfect unison, busy and well-trained.

Combat Captains, Lookouts, Helmsn, chanics, Gunners... all the professional personnel that a Mobile City should have—this goblin Mobile City had them all!

It was also equipped with standard cannons and heavy machine guns, with Level 1 city armor, and seed to have upgraded a series of city accessories.

On the deck, the goblins patrolled with rifles and rocket launchers under the lead of their Combat Captain.

Nearby the Mobile City, goblin convoys were also wandering around.

This monstrous Mobile City actually looked quite decent!

He couldn’t help but wipe the sweat off his forehead.

These goblins were simply outrageous—they flew helicopters, and now even operated Mobile Cities.

At this rate, they might start piloting Gundams soday.

Not long after, the goblin Mobile City gradually moved away.

After confirming the threat had passed, Li Ye ordered the Tomorrow to deactivate its city camouflage.

Although the item was useful, it also consud a huge amount of the city's energy. If kept active until dawn, the energy reserves would be depleted.

At this mont, many people aboard the Tomorrow had been awakened by the earlier commotion.

Upon learning that a monstrous Mobile City had passed by, everyone was stunned.

“How is that possible? Aren’t goblins the weakest Level 1 monsters?”

“This... this kind of thing is terrifying, isn’t it? You must be joking!”

Li Ye waved his hand, signaling everyone to calm down.

“Actually, there’s no need to be so surprised.”

He spoke softly.

“After all, this world no longer belongs to humans.”

...

By the ti Li Ye woke up again, it was already dawn.

He glanced at his watch—it was exactly 5:36 AM.

“If nothing went wrong, the two convoys I sent out should be returning soon,” he thought. “I wonder what information they managed to gather.”

He couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy.

Each off-road vehicle was worth 250 units of iron ore, and with its heavy machine gun, rocket launcher, and assault rifle, it equaled at least 600 units of iron ore. Add to that the three mbers onboard...

If anything happened to one of those vehicles, it would be a massive loss.

Fortunately, to his relief, about ten minutes later, the two convoys returned one after another, bringing back their respective findings.

First was Convoy One.

According to its mbers, they had discovered a fairly sizable survivor community.

“Brother Li, this community is called Firefly,” said one of the convoy mbers. “The people there mistook us for a Survival Caravan and originally planned to give us supplies, but we politely declined.”

“They actually support outsiders with supplies?” Old Zhou was surprised. “This Firefly Community seems pretty decent.”

Li Ye slowly nodded.

There was both scheming and mutual aid.

That was the apocalypse.

“We also noticed they only had standard firearms,” another mber added. “They were very interested in our assault rifles and rocket launchers, even asking if we were willing to sell them.”

“Maybe we can cooperate with them,” Li Ye replied.

He could process firearms and rocket launchers for Firefly Community to earn so Crystal Coins and iron ore.

He never minded the tiniest gains.

What surprised him, though, was that Convoy One had inadvertently stumbled upon the largest survivor community in the city.

As for Convoy Two, Li Ye noticed several bullet holes in their off-road vehicle, clearly signs of an attack.

And the mbers brought back quite the explosive news.

While heading toward the city center, they had unexpectedly encountered the Crimson Hound on the outskirts.

This Predatory City imdiately opened fire on them with the heavy machine guns on its deck and even deployed several cannons for bombardnt.

When the convoy began to escape, it lowered vehicles through a lift platform and gave chase relentlessly.

The chase between the two parties lasted a long while before it ended.

Due to the delay and fuel consumption, the mbers of Convoy Two decided after careful consideration to abandon their exploration of the city center.

They spent the night in a hidden street and hurried back at dawn.

Li Ye let out a sigh of relief and patted the shoulders of the convoy mbers.

“As long as you’re all safe, it doesn’t matter if we run out of fuel.”

Keep in mind, each convoy consisted of two off-road vehicles and six people. If they were all lost, he would’ve been devastated.

At the sa ti, he sighed heavily with a hint of frustration.

“Didn’t expect the Crimson Hound to show up here. The kind do not co, indeed...”

But why had this Predatory City co here?

After thinking it over for a while, Li Ye quickly understood.

This city ruin was the central area of the Wasteland Zone.

As the original city, it still held many leftover resources. Also, many convoys and Mobile Cities ca here.

Therefore, as a hunter, the Crimson Hound naturally followed.

Li Ye made a rough assessnt of the Tomorrow’s current strength compared to the Crimson Hound.

Now, the Tomorrow had Level 1 cannons and a convoy ard with Gale-wind Rocket Launchers. It had a fighting chance against the Predatory City—at least, it wouldn't have to flee like last ti.

But there was still a huge gap in cannon numbers.

The Crimson Hound had twice as many cannons as the Tomorrow, giving it an overwhelming advantage.

What was worse, the Tomorrow’s greatest weapon—the Frost Cannon—was low on ammunition.

Since the attack on Glos Mine, it only had three Frost Shells left and had not been resupplied since.

He shook his head.

For a mont, he had the urge to quickly leave this city ruin and head straight for the Giant Forest.

Just then, a voice suddenly ca from the Watchtower.

“Attention! Three kiloters northeast, a Mobile City is heading our way!”

“What?”

Li Ye’s face changed.

Without thinking, he shouted loudly.

“All combat personnel of the Tomorrow, take your positions imdiately! All civilians evacuate at once!”

Then he dashed toward the Watchtower.

The mont he picked up the binoculars, he saw the approaching Mobile City.

It was clearly the Crimson Hound.

Staring at this Predatory City, Lin Xia's face turned pale. She bit her lip tightly, her eyes fixed on it.

Those newcors who had once lived in Roland Fortress also turned pale.

It had only been a few days, and already their enemy had appeared.

The Crimson Hound had clearly noticed the Tomorrow too. It began to accelerate and let out two short and two long whistle blasts.

“You’ve beco the prey?”

Li Ye read the whistle code and sneered.

“Then let’s see... who is the prey, and who is the hunter.”
