I didn’t say a word throughout breakfast, my mind stuck on that letter.
Who sent it? Was it Freya trying to lure to her? Or was it Ishtar trying to lure ?
It’s definitely one of the two.
It doesn’t make sense for Freya to target Haruhi right now.
But then again... does Freya even know I care about Haruhi? I’m not sure she’s investigated that deeply. Besides, I’ve only t Haruhi once so far.
Yeah... It was definitely Ishtar who sent that letter. But why bla Freya for it?
I know the two of them don’t like each other, but still...
That war between their Familias that happened in the original story isn’t even going to happen now. At least there’s no sign of it. My existence has already changed everything.

As soon as I approached, people started coming up to . I tried to treat everyone as kindly as I could, but more and more people kept gathering, and I had to run away.
I dashed as fast as I could toward the Ishtar Familia’s mansion.
I passed through the entrance without identifying myself and went straight to Ishtar’s room.
When I arrived, I saw her sitting on her throne.
Ishtar had her hair down and straight, flowing down to her waist. She wore a long white dress—almost transparent.
I had a full view of her body.
I can’t deny it—she has a beautiful figure.
And she does look stunning with her hair like that.
As soon as Ishtar noticed , her eyes lit up and she stood. "Luan!" she scread and ran towards . But I stepped back and avoided her touch. She fell to the floor and started crawling toward .
I sighed and said, "Please... stop acting like that."
"But... But... I want you so badly..."
"You should’ve realized by now that you don’t get to have whenever you want. Control yourself. Are you so kind of nymphomaniac?"
"But it’s been so long! I haven’t slept with anyone these past days! I’ve been waiting for you! But you never ca!"
"First question."
"I’ll answer anything... as long as you promise to fuck ."
I stared at her, feeling disgusted.

"Were you the one who sent that letter saying Haruhi was in danger?"
"No. That wasn’t ."

"I didn’t send the letter."
"Did you ask soone else to send it?"
"No... but I did co up with the plan. I told Aisha to tell you Haruhi is in danger."
Ah... that makes sense. So it was Aisha who sent the letter.
But... why drag Freya into it? Well... it doesn’t really matter.
"Where’s Haruhi now?"
"She’s in the sa place as always. In her room."
"Alright. I’m going to her."
"Wait! You promised!"
"I promised... but I never said it’d be today." I smirked.
"Luan! Wait! Luan! You promised! Please... I’m going crazy!" Ishtar crawled to my feet, begging.
I clicked my tongue and used teleportation again, appearing in the sa room where I’d last seen Haruhi.
I appeared inside the room and saw Haruhi lying on the bed.
She was covered up.
Only her tail and head poked out from under the blanket.
I walked over to the bed and called out to her. "Haruhi."
"What?"
Her ears perked up, and she threw the blanket aside. She saw standing by the bed, her eyes full of fear.
Even though we’d t and talked before, she still didn’t trust .
Maybe she thinks I’m here for her "services."
"I’m here to take you away."
"What? What do you an by that?"
"If you stay here, you’ll be in danger. I want to bring you with to the Hestia Familia and protect you. Don’t worry... you can trust ."
