I stared at Mikoto for a few seconds while thinking about how to respond. I had already told her several tis that I didn’t want her to go with because I was afraid she might get hurt, but she kept insisting.

"I’ve already told you I don’t want you to co with so you don’t get hurt. If sothing happened to you, I’d never forgive myself."
"I know that, but..."
"Why do you want to co with ? You know very well you won’t be able to fight on the deeper floors."
"With that sword you gave , I’m sure I could even kill a dragon! Don’t you think?"
She had a point. That sword was strong enough to "cut" through the dungeon itself. Its ability was incredibly powerful. Mikoto would definitely be able to kill a strong monster with it fairly easily.
However, the Black Dragon had said there were monsters stronger than him. He even said that I might struggle, even using the sword with his soul. If we encountered one of those monsters, protecting Mikoto would be difficult.
I’d have to teleport her away as quickly as possible—but what if the monster was faster than ?
Just thinking about it gave chills.
"Mikoto, there are monsters in the dungeon far stronger than you can imagine. Monsters that even put in danger."
Mikoto’s eyes widened.

I have plenty of points and could increase all my stats if necessary. But I didn’t want to tell her that.

It was unpleasant.

"You probably won’t need to use it, but keep it just in case."
"Alright. I’ll use its ability if necessary." Mikoto nodded, looking serious.
I smiled at her and said,
"You’re so cute, Mikoto."
"Hm? What was that all of a sudden?"
"Nothing." I laughed and swung the "Black Dragon" sword.
The mont I did, the dragon spoke:
[A strong monster is approaching.]
"Do you know what kind of monster it is?"
"What’s wrong? Are you talking to the dragon?"
"Yeah. He said he sensed a monster."
"But I don’t see anything..." Mikoto looked around, scared.
There really was nothing. Even I couldn’t sense anything.
So I activated the skill "Detection."
The mont I did, the magic around us beca dense and extrely vivid.
It had a red color, different from the outside.
Then I saw all the magic particles being blown away.
