Lin Xiaoran wasn’t surprised by Lin Wan’s words because the first thing he did every morning upon waking was to drink a glass of water. Otherwise, he would feel dizzy.
Lin Wan poured a glass of water and watched her son finish it. Then, she placed the glass on the table beside her and carried her son to wash up.

Upon hearing his son’s enthusiastic shout, Lu Hao emerged from the kitchen, donning an apron. Upon spotting the mother and son descending the staircase, he greeted them with a smile, “Good morning, Wanwan and my son.”
“Good morning, Daddy Lu,” Lin Xiaoran responded. The moment he reached the bottom of the stairs, he wriggled free from her mother’s hand and headed toward Daddy Lu.
Upon seeing his son approaching, Lu Hao immediately crouched down, waiting for his son to leap into his arms.
“Daddy Lu, the food you cook smells so good.” Lin Xiaoran nestled in Daddy Lu’s arms, hugging him tightly for a moment before releasing him.
“Then you must eat more later,” Lu Hao said to his son with a smile.
“Of course!” Lin Xiaoran nodded in agreement.
“Well, go take a seat in the dining room and wait. I will bring you breakfast immediately,” Lu Hao instructed.
“Okay.” After Lin Xiaoran finished speaking, he strolled toward the dining room.
Upon observing his son heading to the restaurant, Lu Hao walked over to Lin Wan and embraced her.
Lin Wan had grown accustomed to this morning’s hug. She reciprocated by embracing Lu Hao. She leaned on his shoulder and said, “It’s been hard on you. Waking up early every day to cook for us.”
“I’m happy to serve you and our little prince,” Lu Hao responded to Lin Wan. He had never felt tired.
Having Wanwan and Ranran by his side for five years made him very happy.
Even though Ranran’s arrival was unexpected, he was Wanwan’s son, making him her son. He willingly bestowed upon him all the fatherly love in his heart.
“Daddy Lu, Lin Wan, when can I get my food if you keep hugging like this?” A little voice could already be heard from the dining room.
Upon hearing her son’s voice, Lin Wan hastily pushed Lu Hao away and quickly adjusted her clothes. She responded to her son, “Wait a moment. I will go to the kitchen to bring you breakfast.”
Lu Hao stopped her as she was about to walk to the kitchen.
“I’ll go. You go and sit in the dining room and wait,” Lu Hao said with a smile, his tone exceptionally gentle.
Upon seeing Lu Hao’s expression, Lin Wan didn’t insist. She nodded and went to the dining room to sit down.
Lu Hao brought breakfast over. The three of them sat together and began eating. Lin Xiaoran ate while chatting. “Daddy Lu, Lin Wan, who’s sending me to school today?”
“I’ll send you,” Lu Hao replied.
Lin Wan thought about it. She hurriedly said before her son could speak again, “Let’s send you off together.”
After saying that, Lin Wan looked at Lu Hao and added, “I don’t have much work in the morning. I don’t have to rush to work today. I can go later.”
