Tension filled the air. Nicholas stood, trapped beneath a hamr large enough to flatten a small building.
No hero was nearby.
He had yet to use an ability.
It left everyone wondering whether he was truly a hero or just a reckless and passionate man pretending to be one.
So praised his confidence. Others thought him stupid, but they all had one thing in common, no one wanted him to die.
’Use your abilities already.’ Vixen thought, irritation and worry mixing together, he had persevered for so long without an ability.
Did he truly have no ability?
Everyone watching the stream held their breath as the gigantic hamr ca down.
So parents even covered their children’s eyes before the hamr landed.
BOOM!
The impact sent a shockwave ripping through the street, cracks racing across the ground.
Dust exploded across the street.
For a mont nobody could see what remained.

Julie and Selena stood horrified by the scene. Watching it happen while knowing they could be next was terribly scary.
Selena stared at the cloud of dust, trying to see through it, ’Brat! You don’t just die after all that bravado!" She thought, her hands curling up in frustration and anger.
The children hid behind walls and parked cars, their bodies trembling. Sweat ran down their faces and several were openly crying.
Zayx had a satisfied grin climb up his face as the hamr landed, his eyes drifted through the streets, throwing a sharp look at all these onlookers.
’No hero is here yet... So why don’t I have so fun’ He thought, his left compound eye gleaming with delight as he turned to the crowd.
"How does it feel to be stomped on by the insects you kill? Today! You’ll all know what it feels like!" With a wave of his hands, the swarm scattered like tentacles, shooting out in every direction.
Selena’s eyes flashed with urgency as she narrowly avoided the swarm that attacked her, her gaze shot towards the kids in the distance, the tentacle reaching out to them, "Not the kids!!!" She yelled, gritting her teeth.
With that slight mont of distraction, she barely noticed the swarm coming with a terrifying speed at her.
Her instincts flared, but reaction failed her, she could only watch as the swarm descended with a crushing force.
But just then, the air twisted violently.
Space twisted in front of each swarm.
Circular distortions appeared in the air.
The flies entered them.
Then with a loud BANG! They exploded from within.
The swarms were shredded into fine paper, not even specks of their remnants made it to the ground in one piece.
Selena felt a wave of relief, but quickly turned her gaze to the children in the distance. The swarm heading for them had also faced the sa fate.
Seeing that, she let out a sigh of relief, turning her gaze to search around, ’Did Vixen make it?’
The smile on Zayx’s face faded in an instant, his eyes widening in horror.
He’d seen that ability on screen so many tis that he could tell who exactly it was.
"Vixen" he muttered the word like it was so sort of deity, he felt a sharp cold wash over him, his eyes quickly scanning the surrounding for any signs of the said hero as panic set in.
He turned his head in all direction, ’Where is she?’
Everyone watching the stream lit up as they saw the scene.

And while the chat and everyone else was wondering where Vixen was, in the hero association building, watching the scene.
Vixen had her mouth open in shock, "What’s going on? He has my abilities?" She muttered to herself.
"How are you on the screen and standing next to ? Or am I going blind" A hero, dressed in a red black sleek suit that covered his head turned to face Vixen observing her face.
Vixen pushed his head out of the way, "Get your head out of the way! And that’s not ... It seems soone else has my abilities"
"Oh damn" The hero turned his gaze back to the screen wondering who the person that had the ability was.
Zayx was in distress, he felt sweat rolling down his face profusely, ’I should’ve killed him and left imdiately! Master warned us to avoid top heroes. I have to get out of here now!’
Without wasting another second, he shifted his heels, about to move, but before he did, the air in front of him warped and a figure appeared.
"Running is a tendency all you flies have in common" Nicholas cold voice echoed as he appeared in the sky, seemingly walking on the air.
The chat went wild with comnts.
[Zero_1: Fuck, I thought that guy died?]

Zayx expression twisted with confusion, "I killed you! How?!" Zayx turned his gaze to where the hamr had slamd into Nicholas, and that was when it hit him.
’No blood?’ but Zayx didn’t let his gaze linger there for long, ’It doesn’t matter if I didn’t kill him, I have to get out of here before Vixen appears’
Zayx called up the swarm as they carried him and with full speed he darted, moving away from the scene as fast as he could as he stared back, Nicholas calmly stood staring at him.
"I’ll co back for you next ti!" He roared as he flew in a haste, he failed to notice the twist in the air in front of him and right before he could react, he was swallowed into space and appeared again right before Nicholas.
"Huh?" He looked around in shock, he was certain he had flown quite a good distance.
"There will be no next ti" Nicholas cold voice rang in his ears.
The air twisted and all the flies forming his wings exploded.
BOOM!
Before he could react, a jaw-breaking punch crashed into his face.
The punch snapped his head back and blood seeped into his mouth as the force carried him straight into the air.
Nicholas didn’t relent as he reappeared right behind him throwing another punch.

It was in that mont, that the realization hit.
The one using the ability Vixen was famous for...
was Phantom.
