Now reading: Chapter 123 11: That I Am Up To No Good from A Hogwarts Tale: Twin Prophecies, a Action novel by Orngebeard.

Getting to Diagon Alley was actually pretty simple, sure they could have gone the long scenic route of taking a cab, after walking through the secret portal behind the Leaky Cauldron, but why waste ti amiright?

The black family ho was afterall a wizarding family ho, so rather than traveling like muggles, the pair just chose to step into the fireplace, Cassius felt odd having to hold Sirius's hand, but the other declared for a first ti flue powder user this was a requirent no if and or buts.

So holding hands the two stood, with Sirius raising his hand casting the flue powder down after calling out "Diagon Alley!"

The green flas quickly rose up from his feet, but before he could even begin to worry about having been set on fire, Cassius was sent through a rollercoaster of movent.

The world itself was spinning like he was on so dented tea cup ride at a county fair, with fireplace after fireplace flashing before his eyes before disappearing.

The noise as well was almost unbearable with him wanting to cast his hands up to cover his ears only to be unable to with his one arm pinned thanks to Sirius clutching his hand while the other was tucked at his side heeding the advice to keep his elbows tucked in.

*Whooosh*

Finally everything stopped as they landed stepping out of the chimmney and still holding hands Sirius pulled Cassius from within.

The young lad was still coming to terms with what had just happened when he noticed that his robes were absolutely filthly now.

*Sigh*

This was just how it was with all wizarding travel thods it seems.

Either its uncomfortable, dirty, or just downright dangerous.

With a simple cast of his wand, Cassius purged his clothes of the soot, seeing this Sirius opened his arm wide as if to say 'what about ' which seeing the opening Cassius smirked.

Sirius on the other hand tried to react in ti but was too late, only managing to draw his wand but not defend.

"Hah ha ha ha!"

Cassius's spirit filled laughter filled the alley as Sirius was left standing there shoulders slumped as he fell victim to yet another prank.

There he was respendant Lord of Black and yet... now his head was a Jack-o-Lantern courtesey of his fellow maurader.

Though, this spell did not ruin the day as with a simple tap of his wand on his new 'head' the pumpkin surrounding his broke apart and fell to the cobblestone roadway.

"Good one kid, but-"

*Zap*

*Swish*

As Sirius attempted to retaliate while giving a lecture, Cassius was astute and reflected the cast charm away, causing it to strike a cat just minding its own business on the side of the road.

The unfortunate feline quickly beca disturbed as its teeth began to engorge at an alarming rate.

Seeing this outco both Sirius and Cassius burst out in laughter before re-holstering their wands in an agreed up truce at least for now.

The two began the ordeal of purchasing up new school supplies which aside from so simple odds and ends, Cassius already had everything he'd need, save for the worst of all the items.

Yes thats right.

The seven piece collectors set of Gilderoy Lockhearts daring works.

But before the pair could enter Flourish and Blotts to purchase the blowhards books they could only stand there stunned, watching as a very non-magical fight was breaking out, quite literally through the bookstores doors.

Lucius Malfoy, and Arthur Weasley were locked onto one anothers shoulders shoving and pushing one another before falling to the ground coming to blows as punches, elbows, and even kicks were thrown back and forth.

This was clearly as a result of provocation by Lucius against the Weasleys, though the fight itself was worse than depicted in the novels.

Sirius looked like he wanted to intervene, but cassius gripped his sleeve holding him back and shaking his head, choosing instead to just take in the sight.

If either side decided to draw their wands then he would step in, as Lucius surely wouldnt hesitate to use a killing curse, and Arthur could be useful for muggle item adaptation for the wizarding worlds developnt once he'd been thouroughly removed from Dumbledores camp.

Finally the fun was broken off when Ministry Aurors arrived to break up the fight and restrain the two n, before taking them away for statents and processing before being sent off on their rry ways.

Choosing not to linger on the adults, Cassius had his eyes locked on Ginny.

Not in a creepy way, just to check the cauldron she was carrying, to confirm she had received his 'gift' but his wandering eyes were caught by the young witch.

And she blushed furiously causing him to look away.

Earning him a pop on the shoulder for being a lady killer.

Seems that his reputation from school had been spread througout the weasley household thanks to Ron and Harry.

Sirius himself had to be held back upon seeing Harry, but the man quickly controlled himself once the won joined the group.

Mrs. Weasley was absolutely smitten carrying a pile of books haivng just gotten Lockhearts autograph on all of Harry free books.

Next to her was Mrs. Evan nee Potter, likewise looking pleased as punch, only for her smile to turn into a frown upon noticing Sirius standing across from the bookstore with Cassius.

Choosing not to linger she quickly ushered the kids to all move on to another store, opening the pathway for Sirius and Cassius to enter.

But what he didnt expect was that imdiately after having seen the famous Harry Potter the glory seeking fool was still hungry for more attention.

"Cassius Snape!"

The voice sounded out as soon as Cassius had set foot within the bookstore.

All the assembled reporters and witches turned to look at the new arrival.

Cassius was famous for being the 'True Heir to House Draconis' the official founder of Hogwarts and the patriarchal family of Britain magical society.

Lockheart was eager to latch onto this young lad almost even more so than Harry Potter himself, but who would think that one the 2nd day of his agreeing to sign copies within Flourish & Blotts he would encounter both boys and within minutes of one another as well.
