When the shadow lood overhead, Garrett Nordmark remained calm.

The wind, the biting mountain wind, the breeze that rustled the treetops, had long inford him:

Sothing colossal, sothing imnsely powerful, was speeding towards him from behind, from the direction where the salty wind blew.

Who else could it be?

Garrett even had the leisure to tidy his appearance.

Hmm, his hair couldn't be too ssy, the grass on his front lapel had to be brushed off, his knees and pants legs were dusty? A quick Cleanse Spell...

Of course, all kinds of defensive spells couldn't be forgotten. [Advanced Mage Armor], activated, [Protection from Ranged Attacks], activated, [Force Field Shield], ready to deploy...

Not for anything else, but just in case Cirilla crashed into him when she landed.

Even if she didn't crash into him, if she crushed the flowers and plants, or the surrounding trees fell on him, it would still be terrible!

The wind roared. Garrett's hair, his clothes, and the surrounding leaves all swayed wildly. Dust and small stones kicked up by the hooves were swept up by the fierce wind, even flying in front of the horse.

"Garrett!"

Above his head, a clear and bright shout joyfully rained down. Garrett looked up in response, seeing a huge shadow dive down, a fleeting mont.

"I'm here!"

Floating, wobbling, the Silver Dragon transford into a girl at the last mont, using a Feather-fall Spell to slow her descent, landing lightly on the back of the Phantom Steed.

Garrett rolled his eyes where she couldn't see.

"Cirilla... next ti, don't dive so fast... what if you can't transform in ti..."

"Hehe... I saw you casting your armor!" The Silver Dragon girl justified herself:

"Advanced Mage Armor to prevent crushing, Protection from Ranged Attacks to withstand impact, Garrett, your ink pen still has at least one Force Field Shield, right? You'll be fine!"

"Ahem..."

A cough of barely suppressed irritation sounded from above. Garrett quickly turned around, halting the Phantom Steed, bowing respectfully. For a mont, he was flustered, unsure whether to dismount:

"Master..."

His master, senior brother, and senior sister were floating in the air, looking down at him.

The Lord of Thunder was expressionless, Senior Brother Byerbo's face was dark, and Senior Sister was desperately winking at him from an angle where Senior Brother couldn't see...

Senior Sister, what are you trying to say?

Without telepathy, I can't get it!

Garrett's mind raced, finally deciding not to dismount to avoid wasting a spell. He jumped off the horse, raised his face, and greeted warmly and respectfully:

"Master! Senior Brother, Senior Sister! You're all here!"

"Could we not co?" Senior Brother Byerbo's face was still very ugly, even his bald head was covered with a layer of dark aura under the sun:

"You sent Cirilla out, how could we not hurry over?"

"Uh..."

Garrett shrank his neck, stealing a glance at Cirilla. The Silver Dragon girl stood proudly, her face full of pride. Garrett breathed a slight sigh of relief:

"Cirilla, are you okay? Didn't run into any danger, right?"

"Of course I'm fine!" The Silver Dragon girl raised her chin high. The next mont, the Lord of Thunder spoke softly:

"She charged into the storm and rescued more than one mage in danger. A brave girl."

"That’s right~~~"

Cirilla's head lifted even higher. The Lord of Thunder continued:

"But, letting her leave your side was a bit reckless, Garrett. I see you relocated and engaged in a battle?"

Garrett discreetly exhaled. He quickly reported:

"Yes, Cirilla's movent was too noticeable, so I thought we couldn't stay in one place and moved inland..."

The Lord of Thunder listened silently. His expressionless face remained unchanged, only when Garrett ntioned the first battle location, he flicked his hand, spreading out a huge carpet:

Garrett sensibly climbed on. The flying carpet floated above the treetops, carrying the five of them back to the first battle location.

"Master... you were watching from above all along?"

Garrett asked sheepishly. The Lord of Thunder stared ahead, motionless, as if he hadn't heard. Senior Brother Byerbo impatiently answered:

"Such a commotion, only a blind man couldn't see! Use your brain!"

Uh...

Garrett shrank his neck again. Opposite him, Senior Sister smiled gently:

"Little Garrett, don't bla your Senior Brother. When we saw the explosion, our hearts leapt. Cirilla flapped her wings desperately—next ti, prioritize your safety, understood?"

Senior Sister, please don't smile so sinisterly when you say that...

Garrett shivered inwardly. To reassure his master and senior siblings, he straightened his neck, trying to argue:

"I won! One against two, one was a Level 12 swordsman, the other was a divine spellcaster, not much lower in level... I took them both down! Even stronger ones shouldn't easily slip through, right?"

"Tell us."

The Lord of Thunder suddenly spoke.

Garrett quickly turned, reporting the battle process in detail. The Lord of Thunder listened silently, his expression, eyes, and breathing unchanged. Occasionally, he would make a faint comnt:

"Too rigid in your battle strategy."

"Too cautious... standing still, hiding in your shell and getting hit, a joke."

"Poor pairing of defensive spells... never lose your sense of surroundings."

"You should have used debuff spells on the enemy... Web Spell? Grease Spell? Ice Wind? Didn't think of any?"

"Why not use Teleportation to pull distance? Keep moving, change direction, pull away, that's the mage's way!"

Each critique made Garrett feel more battered. By the ti he finished, the flying carpet had reached the battlefield, circling low. His senior brother and sister cast spells, collecting the enemy's remnants, placing them before their master.

The Lord of Thunder inspected everything, including the light-golden arm bone Garrett offered, his expression slightly softened:

"Not too bad. Practice more, and if you repeat any of these mistakes, even a lower-level expert could kill you!"

Garrett nodded vigorously. The Lord of Thunder examined him once more, finally softening his tone:

"This war is finally over. You contributed significantly, even in the final legendary battle, a few key strategies were yours. Think about what reward you want to advance to Level 9 Mage."

Garrett exhaled deeply. Just as he relaxed, his expression turned strange:

"Master..."

"Hmm?"

"I think... I'm about to advance now..."
