Omniscient P.O.V.

A few days passed peacefully as Demian basked in the three won's warm attentions, soothing his previously tense spirit.

Indeed, although most of the scars marring his mind had been healed through his breakthrough, it still left a deep exhaustion behind, sothing that could only be felt but not seen, and needed proper rest to truly fix.

Similar to an intense physical exertion, his Soul, or Mind, most likely needed so ti to recharge its 'batteries'.

Thus, the young man simply decided to indulge a bit in 'laziness' for a few days before doing anything else involving breakthroughs and intense ntal exertion.

Unfortunately for him, it took only a few days for him to be forced out of this self-assigned vacation.

The reason?

Well, although Seraphine was using that ti to assimilate the new Bloodline mories, practice the techniques the latter contained, and beco used to her new strength, the other two, Adeliya and Brynhild, were starting to lose their patience.

To be fair, Demian did promise them so ti ago that as soon as he went through his Tribulation and broke through to the Foundation Building Rank, he would Bond with them.

However, his promise was now a few days overdue, and though the golden-skinned woman, Bryn, said nothing, he could tell from her growingly expectant glances toward him that her patience was running thin.

The 'worst' of the two, however, was her mother, the beautiful middle-aged redhead Liya, whose needs, physical and ntal, were clearly much higher than her oldest daughter's.

After all, having been married years ago, she knew what to expect, at least to a certain extent, and with her youngest daughter's constant and vivid descriptions, she had beco even more impatient.

Imagination and experience were, after all, two different things.

However, her lust and need for love were only part of the reasons why she was becoming impatient.

The other one was seeing her cultivation growing extrely slowly, at least compared to the other three.

Where she had barely crossed to the Seventh Level of the Chi Gathering Rank, Sera was already preparing to go through her own Tribulation.

Bryn, who had been at the Peak of the Second Level of the Foundation Building Rank, had broken through the day prior to the Third Level.

As for Demian, though he was still 'stuck' at the Peak of the Third Level, his cultivation kept growing, while the bottleneck was growing thinner by the day.

Honestly, she would not be surprised if he broke through suddenly one of these days while eating or drinking.

Truly a case of happiness for others, but sorrow for oneself.

Unknowingly, the three kept growing further and further away from her.

She knew, or feared, depending on the point of view, that if she did not bond with Demian quickly, she might lose them forever.

Objectively, the chance of that happening was abysmally low, sothing Liya was aware of.

Nonetheless, logic and emotions were two different things.

She may have 'known' it, but her heart still felt so concerns and worries.

Thus, she had to move, or more specifically, she had to make the handso raven-haired man act and bond with her as soon as possible.

As the Chinese say, 'Cooked rice can't be uncooked'.

Although the original aning might refer to more unsavory things, she felt it sowhat fit her own situation...

On Demian's side, he was completely aware of her thought process, and had not bonded with her yet, not because he was regretting his choice, but because he was striving to recuperate ntally before doing it.

Indeed, both his intuition and the information he received about his Perks during his breakthrough told him that bonding with Liya and Bryn would most likely trigger so commotion, not only for the girls but also for himself.

At the very least, a 'level-up', though beyond that was unknown.

After all, his talent had already passed the limit of what this Mortal World could naturally create, and thus, going beyond it might be too difficult for his Perks, if such a level even existed.

'Well, the Golden Immortal Energy inside my body might grow to a certain extent.'

He pondered for a few monts, though he was more curious about what benefits the girls would receive.

If he understood correctly, bonding with two more won should multiply his Physiological Perk's base effects by 8 tis, while the three would all get a 4 tis multiplier, sothing beyond what even he currently had access to.

If he was already considered a cheater, then bonding with two more won would propel him to a level beyond even that.

And that was only with three bonds, while he could currently bond with nine won in total...

Shaking his head at the idea, he thought.

'Better not to do it. Bonding for the sake of bonding will only lead to suffering, for both myself and them. Best to focus on those three instead. Plus, it's not as if the effects aren't already overpowered with 'just' them.'

While his mind was busy conjuring all sorts of ideas, he subconsciously adjusted his posture better on the large and comfortable sofa standing on his bedroom's exterior patio, his feet resting on one of the accompanying footrests.

At that mont, the sun was shining brightly on his handso face, the sunlight flittering between the semi-open roof before falling on his naked upper body, half of his thighs, ankles, and feet.

The warmth it brought gave the young man a cloud-like feeling, relaxing every part of his body and smoothing the small tensions hidden in his muscles.

With every deep breath he took, the Elental Energy floating around was absorbed in his lungs before so small impurities were ejected with his exhaling breath, leaving no trace on his skin.

Even his pores were taking in the ambient Energy, distributing it automatically to every part of his body with a mind-blowing efficiency, especially as it was a natural reaction of his body and not a deliberate attempt at cultivating.

Though the amount was small relative to his current needs, with every instant passing by, the young man's cultivation and strength grew increntally more powerful.

It was the epito of passive cultivation, sothing that only those immortal-Grade talent benefitted from, though their efficiency would certainly be much weaker than Demian's own as they lacked his reality-altering Perks.

"Life is pretty nice..."

The young man mumbled, his eyes closed as he was focused on basking in the sun's warmth, not really paying attention to his ever-growing cultivation.

It was only a few seconds later that his head was suddenly surrounded by two soft, round, and sowhat heavy mounds of flesh, followed by two tender arms encircling his neck until their owners' dainty hands rested on his naked chest.

"Truly a lazy bum, huh?"

The teasing words and pleasant sensation on his skin brought a playful grin to his face as he retorted.

"Just enjoying the sun while it lasts. Rainy season here is truly sothing else..."

Indeed, the Flowing Stars Archipelago had a tropical climate all year-round, which had both its advantages and disadvantages.

On one hand, you had sunny weather the majority of the year, and, combined with the white sand beach and luxurious vegetation, made it perfect as a vacation spot.

On the other end, however, the humidity was off-the-charts, and every ti it rained, it felt more like the sky was falling on your head, with the amount of water falling in a few hours being more than the total fresh water available in the Origin Island.

And that was outside the so-called rainy season, with its lightning storms, hurricanes, and other 'lively' natural disasters which would be classified as world-destroying catastrophes for any Mortal nations.

Of course, cultivators were much less affected, especially those at a certain level of cultivation, instead treating the phenona as re inspiration for creating their Spells or refining their Heart cultivation.

So, why ntion the rainy season?

Well, it was because the ti of the year they were in was actually the so-called rainy season, thus the lightning storm they experienced a few days prior.

For days, the four only saw heavy rainfall and grey-black clouds, with not a speck of sunlight or blue sky on the horizon.

That was why he would not waste the opportunity to bask in the sun today, especially since with his current passive cultivation, it was not truly a waste of ti, rely slowing down his pace sowhat.

Hearing his answer, the woman standing with her arms around his neck let out a few giggles before replying.

"With the amount of ti you bask in the sun, I'm starting to wonder if you weren't a lizard in one of your past lives."

Chuckling at her response, he then used a thought, and the woman behind him flew into his lap, the latter letting out a yelp of surprise before she comnted, her tone a mix of reproach and amusent.

"Always using your intent to send us into your lap. So childish."
