Mu Yan turned toward the door, hearing the voice, and saw Jiang Jingheng walk in. She asked, "Why did you get here so quickly?"
"I happened to have a eting nearby and ca over after it ended," Jiang Jingheng replied.
"Then let’s wait for Luo Yao to co and we’ll leave together," Mu Yan said.
Lu Hao was hosting dinner in the evening, inviting everyone.
"Sis, it’s okay, Luo Yao is almost here. You guys can go ahead, don’t let delay you," Mu Chen said.
"It won’t delay us much," Mu Yan said firmly.
Mu Chen smiled helplessly at Jiang Jingheng, but didn’t receive any friendly response from him.
Feeling awkward, he thought to himself that his brother-in-law was like a block of ice; he had hardly ever seen him smile.
Before long, Luo Yao arrived and brought dinner for Mu Chen.
Only then did Mu Yan leave with Jiang Jingheng.
Initially, Mu Yan thought it was just a casual dinner with friends, but upon arriving, she realized Lu Hao had invited other friends, and notably, there were many won, all seemingly in ambiguous relationships with him.
The center of the rooftop was a dance floor where young n and won tangled together, the music was deafening.
Mu Yan and her group were in a private booth nearby, where they could have so peace and quiet.

Lan Xi was acting as if nothing was wrong, snacking on the dessert and fruit, occasionally recomnding so to Mu Yan.
Mu Yan glanced at Lu Hao, who was having a great ti with the beauties on the dance floor, then at Lan Xi’s carefree deanor, feeling a bit worried. Was this kid numb from being provoked?
"What’s Brother Lu’s deal? Inviting us over just to watch him fool around with a bunch of won?" Dong Le grumbled.
"Why do you talk so annoyingly? I think Brother Lu’s dancing is pretty good," Lan Xi said, watching Lu Hao with a look of fascination.
Dong Le’s face turned livid, "Lan Xi, can you be more sensible? Don’t you understand what he ans?"
"I don’t know what he ans, but what do you an?" Lan Xi put her plate on the table, looking at him with displeasure.
"I... I’m looking out for you!" Dong Le stamred.
Lan Xi was a bit disdainful, "Whatever, I bet you’re interested in the girl dancing with Brother Lu. Fine, once Brother Lu finishes dancing, he can pass her to you, no biggie."
Dong Le almost jumped with anger; is that what he ant? No!
He shouted in annoyance, "Even if she were given to , I wouldn’t want that kind of sl*t."
"Alright then, I’ll introduce you to so fresh and pure beauties so other day, okay? Don’t get agitated, sit down," Lan Xi said, looking exasperated.
Feeling he couldn’t stay any longer with her unwilling to budge, Dong Le picked up his coat and headed out.
"Dong Le, hey, what do you an by that? Leaving so soon?" Ning Ze called out.
Dong Le completely ignored him, went out, and slamd the door shut with a "bang."
Ning Ze looked at the other people in the private booth, shrugging, "He’s taken the wrong dication today."
Lan Xi picked up the wine glass from the table and took a sip.
Seeing her like this, no one else brought up the topic of Dong Le.
The atmosphere was a bit stagnant, but Song Cheng’an suddenly broke the silence, asking, "Why didn’t Huahua and Shaohan co?"
"That kid Shaohan has no skill to co, right," Ning Ze grumbled.
"What happened? Have they had another fight?" Song Cheng’an laughed.
"That punk Shaohan yelled at Huahua and wants to break up with her." Ning Ze got angry ntioning this, "That kid doesn’t realize the blessing he has, how dare he look down upon Huahua, such a good girl. If he were here today, I would make him pay!"
Song Cheng’an chuckled, looking at him and asked, "Forget about them, let’s talk about you. Is Queen Qin that difficult to deal with?"
