Just then, her phone rang again. It was an unfamiliar number.
As soon as she answered, she heard Lian Jun’s voice.
"Young Madam, I’m downstairs. Do you need to bring it up?"
Mu Yan quickly replied, "No need, I’ll co down and get it myself."
She hung up the phone and went downstairs.
Downstairs, Lian Jun handed two plastic bags to Mu Yan.
"Thank you." Mu Yan took the bags.
"Young Madam, you’re welco. I’ll be waiting downstairs for you. When you’re ready to leave, just give a call," Lian Jun said respectfully.
"Sorry to trouble you." Mu Yan nodded, turning toward the main entrance.
Suddenly, a male voice called out, "Mu Yan!"
Mu Yan turned her head to see Xiao Nan jogging over. She called out, "Xiao Nan."
Xiao Nan approached, smiling, "I thought I was mistaken. It’s really you. When did you arrive?"
"This afternoon."
"What’s this?" Xiao Nan pointed to the two plastic bags in Mu Yan’s hand.
"Oh, this is dinner," Mu Yan replied.
Xiao Nan nodded, then turned to look at Lian Jun, asking, "Who is this?"
Mu Yan’s eyes slightly flickered, "This is my friend, helping deliver food."
Lian Jun nodded at Xiao Nan, "Hello."
"Hello!" Xiao Nan stared at Lian Jun for a few monts, feeling he looked familiar.
Mu Yan, afraid Xiao Nan might suspect sothing, said, "I have to go up now, Mu Chen is already hungry."
Xiao Nan withdrew his gaze and smiled, "I’ll escort you up. Give the bags."
Mu Yan did not refuse, "Thank you."
She handed the bags to Xiao Nan and headed toward the main entrance.
Xiao Nan followed with the bags.
Lian Jun watched their backs and picked up the phone to make a call.
"Young Master, the items have been given to Young Madam."
"I didn’t bring them up, but she has a friend who’s helping her carry them."
"It’s her doctor friend, Xiao Nan."
The person on the other end spoke coldly, "Dock one month’s bonus."
Then, hung up the call.

Suddenly, an impatient voice ca through, "Eat or leave!"
The private room fell silent for a mont, then Ning Ze quickly said, "Eat, eat!"
