Since returning in October, Mu Yan hasn’t co back again, and she rarely calls. Most of the calls are made by Ruan Xinyu.
Today, Mrs. Zhuang was dressed in red, looking especially festive.
After Mu Yan and Jiang Jingheng finished paying their New Year’s respects, they received a red envelope from her.
"Nuannuan, this is the first New Year you’ve spent back ho, Grandpa and Grandma are very happy."
"Thank you, Grandma!" Mu Yan took the red envelope and expressed her gratitude.
Ruan Xinyu and Zhuang Zeyang also gave them red envelopes, but when it was Zhuang Shaoyang and Liang Rong’s turn, Mu Yan directly ignored them.
As for Zhuang Shaoyang and Liang Rong being at the Zhuang family, she wasn’t surprised at all.

The atmosphere suddenly beca strange. Ruan Xinyu furrowed her brow slightly; this sister-in-law always likes to do these formalities, knowing full well that Nuannuan doesn’t like her, yet still insists on coming forward.

Mu Yan played with the red envelope in her hand and said to Liang Rong and Zhuang Shaoyang, "On this trip, the gifts I brought for you haven’t arrived yet, so please wait a bit."
Everyone was stunned hearing this. She prepared gifts for them? Really?
Liang Rong and Zhuang Shaoyang were quite suspicious in their hearts, feeling it was unreal.
However, Zhuang Shaoyang was much more optimistic, thinking his daughter had grown up and wanted to reconcile with him.
He laughed and said, "We’re family, there’s no need to be so formal, you don’t need to prepare gifts for ."
Mu Yan looked at him, smiling, "How could that be? You always give gifts, I should occasionally reciprocate."
Zhuang Shaoyang looked at her, so excited he was nearly speechless.
"Nuannuan, Dad is very happy."
Mu Yan did not respond to his words and turned to Jiang Jingheng, "It’s a bit hot."
Ruan Xinyu hurriedly said, "The house has central heating, you’re wearing too much, of course it’s hot, quickly go to the room to change clothes."
Mu Yan nodded, "Mm, we’ll go up now."
Watching the two going upstairs, Mrs. Zhuang laughed, "Nuannuan finally figured it out."

After all, with that person’s favor, he wouldn’t abandon them mother and daughter.
While Mrs. Zhuang was happy, she reminded her son, "Don’t be too hasty, speak gently, if you anger the child again, it won’t be so easy to fix."
"I know." Zhuang Shaoyang replied cheerfully.
