As Song Cheng'an left, Jiang Jingheng picked up the docunts and looked at them, frowning, "There's too much work."
"It's alright, aren't all artists like this?" Mu Yan was unconcerned.
Jiang Jingheng glanced at her, "You don't have to work so hard."
"I have to support my family, so I must work hard." Mu Yan said seriously. Jiang Jingheng's lips curled slightly, "Does Mrs. Jiang want to support ?"
Mu Yan's expression changed slightly, and she quickly said, "No, I was talking about my brother."
Jiang Jingheng squinted his eyes, looking dangerous, "What about ?"
Mu Yan whispered, "It's not like you're broke."
"But I just want Mrs. Jiang to support ." Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow. "You'd be okay with porridge every day?" Mu Yan said deliberately.
"Of course, if we're having porridge, I'd definitely leave the rice for you to eat." Jiang Jingheng chuckled lightly.
Mu Yan looked into his light brown eyes, feeling awkward, is he serious?
If he really wanted her to support him like this, she might be willing...
Supporting a handso guy is pleasing to the eyes.
As soon as this thought ca out, Mu Yan felt bad about it, no, she couldn't be swayed by that face.
After breakfast, Mu Yan received a call from Lin Jiamu, inviting her out for lunch, and Qin Xi would be there too.
Mu Yan went back to her room, read the script for a while, then changed clothes, applied light makeup, and left the room with her bag.
As she went downstairs, she saw no one in the living room, not knowing if Jiang Jingheng had gone out or was in his room.
She hesitated, wondering if she should inform him.
She took out her phone, preparing to make a call.
Suddenly, a voice ca from behind, "You're going out?"
Mu Yan was startled, nearly dropping her phone.
She looked up to see him standing at the top of the stairs. She patted her chest and glared at him, "You scared to death, can't you walk with so noise?"
Jiang Jingheng's handso face showed no trace of guilt as he ca down with a stern look and asked, "Where to?"
"eting so friends for lunch."
"Who?"
Mu Yan gave him a peculiar look, "You don't know my friends, why ask so many questions?"
Actually, what she wanted to say was, is it necessary for her to report to him who she's eting?
Just like how he wouldn't report who he ets to her.
Jiang Jingheng looked at her, his handso face tense, light brown eyes glimring with dark light.
"Is it a man?"
Mu Yan nodded, "Yeah, and a woman."
When she said the latter sentence, her expression turned serious.
Jiang Jingheng's expression eased sowhat, "Then go early and co back early, if you're late, I might have to co find you myself."
Mu Yan knew he was joking with that last sentence, but she still assured him, "If nothing unexpected happens, I'll be back this afternoon."
She glanced at the ti on her phone and said, "It's getting late, I'm heading out. You take care of your own lunch."
Suddenly, she rembered sothing, "That pot's broken, and Yu Ma's not here, what will you eat for lunch? Why not order takeout?"
"I won't." Jiang Jingheng said with his hands in his pockets, looking indifferent.
Mu Yan paused, then understood. Soone like him probably never orders takeout.
She laughed, "How about I order sothing before I leave?"
She opened the takeout app and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"I'm not hungry now."
Mu Yan looked at him, frowning slightly, "Then what to do?"
"I'll call you when I'm hungry, then you can order for ."
Jiang Jingheng said, then hesitated, "But wouldn't that trouble you?"
Mu Yan thought this was a workable solution and smiled, "It's no trouble at all,
just call when you're hungry. I'm off."
"You don't need to drive you?" Jiang Jingheng asked.
"No need, having you as my driver would spoil too much" Mu Yan
half-joked, heading to the door.
Jiang Jingheng stood behind her, watching her leave, his handso face clouding over in an instant.
It's rare to have a weekend with her.
He imdiately dialed a number and instructed, "Ensure the Young Madam's
safety,"
