Downstairs, Ning Ze was wearing a light gray coat paired with a turtleneck sweater. He looked stylish and handso, but upon closer inspection, his fair face had a faint red hue, clearly from the cold.
Although the temperature in the South is higher than in the North, so places still go below zero in winter, and the weather hasn’t been great these past few days.
Qin Xi looked at his slightly red face and frowned, saying, "Are you stupid? Why are you standing in the wind?"
"Standing here ans Xi Xi, you can see first thing when you co down." Ning Ze said earnestly, and after speaking, he sneezed.
Qin Xi couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him, reached out to hold his hand, and imdiately withdrew her hand due to the coldness.
"My goodness, it’s so icy! Why are you wearing so little? Aren’t you cold?"
"I didn’t bring thick clothes." Ning Ze said, feeling wronged.
"If you didn’t bring them, why not buy so? The stores aren’t closed for the New Year."
Ning Ze looked at her pitifully, "There’s no one to go with ; I only know Xi Xi here."
Qin Xi, "..."
So it’s still her fault?
She was a bit speechless, "Fine, let’s go to my house first, get warm, and then I’ll change clothes and go shopping with you."
Ning Ze’s eyes instantly lit up, "Xi Xi, are you willing to let et your parents?"
Qin Xi was helpless against his thick skin, too lazy to correct him, and said irritably, "Wishful thinking, my parents aren’t ho!"
She said, glancing at him, "Besides, would you dare block here if you didn’t know they were out?"
Ning Ze touched his nose and didn’t make a sound.
Thinking of him standing here wearing so little just to catch her parents leaving, she couldn’t bear to scold him further.
"Let’s go!" She turned and walked towards the gate.
Seeing this, Ning Ze imdiately followed.
Entering the house, Qin Xi said, "My ho isn’t as grand as yours; don’t be picky."
Ning Ze looked speechless, "What are you talking about, Xi Xi? Compared to my mansion, I’d rather co to your house. If only you’d let stay.
"Wishful thinking." Qin Xi rolled her eyes at him and headed towards the room.
As Ning Ze saw this, he imdiately prepared to follow, but Qin Xi stopped him, "Either sit in the living room or blow cold air outside, pick one."
"Can I choose neither?"
"No!"
"Alright then." Seeing her firm attitude, Ning Ze obediently went back to the living room and sat down.
Looking at the closed door, he pouted. He had wanted to see Xi Xi’s room, Hope dashed.
His gaze swept around the living room; the decor was quite standard, the house, and furniture appeared a bit old.
From what he knows, Qin Xi isn’t lacking money nor is she stingy about spending on her parents, so it seems her family is very simple and unpretentious.
After a little while, Qin Xi erged with a change of clothes, wearing a black down coat, hat, and mask.
"Let’s go." She said to Ning Ze.
Ning Ze imdiately stood up, walked in front of her, and hesitated.
Qin Xi looked at him with surprise, "Why are you staring at ?"
Ning Ze frowned, "Can you take off the mask?"
Qin Xi was a bit confused, pulled down her mask, and asked, "Why?"
Ning Ze gave a light cough, pointed at his lips, and said, "With the mask on, how am I supposed to kiss you?"
Qin Xi, "..."
She directly kicked him, Ning Ze unprepared took the hit, letting out a pained sound.
Qin Xi ignored him, put on her mask, and walked out.
Ning Ze imdiately chased after her, "Xi Xi, wait for !"
He felt extrely wronged; he was just telling the truth. Kissing with obstacles feels pointless, no, Xi Xi must be embarrassed.
