Mu Yan looked at his silent face and didn’t dare to move.
The collar was pulled up by Jiang Jingheng, turning the off-shoulder neckline to cover her fragrant shoulders with the collar.
Mu Yan looked at her wrinkled collar and slightly furrowed her brows, "What are you doing? This dress only looks good with the off-shoulder neckline."
"It’s only for my eyes." Jiang Jingheng snorted lightly.
Mu Yan didn’t hear clearly and asked, "What did you say?"
Jiang Jingheng glanced at her, "No need to dress up too nicely to et them."
Mu Yan, "..."
If that’s the case, then why did you have soone send this dress?
"Let’s go." Jiang Jingheng said.
He was about to reach out to hold her hand but thought of sothing, then turned around and walked out.
Mu Yan followed him out.
Once in the car, Mu Yan couldn’t help but say, "Can I pretend not to know you tonight?"
"Hmm?" Jiang Jingheng responded absent-mindedly.
Mu Yan said, "I think if our marriage is revealed, it will be quite shocking, and not suitable for tonight’s occasion."
Jiang Jingheng’s exquisite peach blossom eyes lifted slightly, "You have a point."
Mu Yan smiled, "So you agree?"
Jiang Jingheng tapped the steering wheel lightly and chuckled, "If Mrs. Jiang wants to be an ostrich, what can I do?"
"You’re the ostrich!" Mu Yan glared at him.
Jiang Jingheng chuckled, "Yes, who made marry an ostrich?"
Mu Yan, "..."
Once again, he’s talking nonsense with a straight face!
She frowned and said, "Then you have to keep your word."
"Of course!" Jiang Jingheng’s mouth curled slightly.
She only said she would pretend not to know him, but didn’t say he had to pretend not to know her too.
Around seven thirty, the car stopped in front of a clubhouse in the city center.
Mu Yan looked at the clubhouse entrance, having a sense of déjà vu.
She got out of the car and followed Jiang Jingheng inside, only to realize it was the sa clubhouse she had visited with Qin Xi last ti.
This morning, Qin Xi ntioned on the phone that Sun Hao had a miserable outco because he offended Jiang Jingheng.
She looked at the man beside her, suddenly wanting to ask him how exactly Sun Hao offended him.
As if sensing the gaze beside him, Jiang Jingheng turned to look at her, his voice deep, "What’s wrong?"
"Nothing." Mu Yan imdiately withdrew her gaze.
She felt her mind was a bit unclear.
No matter the reason, it couldn’t possibly be for her.
And what was she expecting?
Jiang Jingheng stared at her for a few seconds, then teased with a slight curve at the corner of his mouth, "Staring at for no reason, could it be you have a crush on ?"
Mu Yan’s heart tightened, sothing seed to be on the verge of bursting out.
"Jingheng." A male voice suddenly ca from behind.
A trace of displeasure flickered in Jiang Jingheng’s light brown eyes, and he turned to see Song Cheng’an jogging over.
Mu Yan regained her composure, turned around, and greeted the newcor, "Brother Song."
Song Cheng’an approached, glanced at Mu Yan, and complinted, "Very beautiful."
"Thank you."
"Let’s go in." Song Cheng’an looked at Jiang Jingheng.
Jiang Jingheng gave him a cold glance, then turned and walked ahead.
Song Cheng’an felt a bit nervous inside, he hadn’t offended him, so what was this about?
"Brother Song, can I walk with you?"
Song Cheng’an looked at Mu Yan, his eyes rolled and he seed to understand why Jingheng wasn’t pleased with him.
He smiled, "Sure."
Getting a chance to annoy soone else was not sothing he wanted to pass up.
The clubhouse manager arrived hearing the news and led the three of them to a private room on the third floor.
The manager opened the door to the private room and respectfully said to Jiang Jingheng, "Young Master Jiang, please."
