Ning Ze watched the two exchange glances, feeling like he’d been fed a mouthful of dog food.
If it weren’t for his role as a cover, his Brother Jiang would probably have kicked him away long ago.
The director called out for Mu Yan to start filming. She smiled brightly at Jiang Jingheng, "I’ll be done soon."
Without waiting for Jiang Jingheng to respond, she lifted her skirt and ran forward.
Watching her back, Ning Ze’s eyes were filled with amazent, "My goddess looks so beautiful when she smiles."
"Your goddess?" a cold voice interrupted from the side.
Ning Ze shivered, instantly realizing he had misspoken.
"Ahem, I ant sister-in-law, Brother Jiang. Let’s find sowhere to rest for a bit."
Jiang Jingheng gave him a glance, "Rember, call her that from now on."
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed soone approaching and turned to look.
Ning Ze, "..."
Weren’t you the one who didn’t want to call her sister-in-law before? How quickly things change.
Ning Shishen walked over and was a bit surprised to see Jiang Jingheng with Ning Ze, "Ning Ze, Jing Heng?"
Ning Ze quickly greeted, "Big brother."
Jiang Jingheng lowered his eyelids, nodding slightly, "Brother Shishen."
Ning Shishen was curious, "What are you guys doing here?"
"I’m here with Brother Jiang to see his girlfriend," Ning Ze said with a smile.
Girlfriend? Ning Shishen looked at Jiang Jingheng in surprise. He’s got a girlfriend now?
Jiang Jingheng looked at him with cool eyes, calmly saying, "Thanks for looking after her, Brother Shishen."
Ning Shishen t his gaze, feeling a sense of foreboding, and asked, "Your girlfriend is?"
Ning Ze cut in quickly, "It’s our IOC spokesperson, Mu Yan."
Ning Shishen’s expression changed slightly, his heart suddenly feeling a storm was brewing.
He glanced at Mu Yan, who was putting on makeup not far away, then at Jiang Jingheng.
Mu Yan’s boyfriend is actually him!
Ning Shishen quickly composed himself, "There’s no need to thank."
Ning Ze didn’t notice the undercurrent between the two and asked, "Big brother, why did you choose sister-in-law as the IOC spokesperson?"
Jiang Jingheng lifted his eyelids, a cold flash flickering in his light brown eyes.
Ning Shishen said calmly, "I didn’t choose her, soone from below recomnded her."
Ning Ze nodded, "That really is quite a coincidence."
The three of them fell silent, their attention all on Mu Yan as she was filming.
She wore a white long dress, her pure and lovely face beaming with a smile, just like a sunflower.
Ning Ze received a call and left on business, leaving just Jiang Jingheng and Ning Shishen.
Ning Shishen suddenly asked, "Are you serious about her?"
Jiang Jingheng’s gaze was cool, a slight smirk on his lips, "Brother Shishen, in what capacity are you asking ?"
Ning Shishen’s expression changed subtly, plainly stating, "As a friend."
"Is that so? Our Yanyan has never ntioned you to ," Jiang Jingheng chuckled softly, his eyes cold.
Ning Shishen said solemnly, "In your family’s environnt, you can’t marry her. She’s a good girl, don’t hurt her."
"Is that so?" Jiang Jingheng answered nonchalantly.
Ning Shishen frowned slightly, turned his head to speak, and saw that Jiang Jingheng was gazing forward, a smile spreading across his handso face.
He followed his gaze.
Mu Yan finished and walked over in their direction.
She was looking at Jiang Jingheng, her smile a bit shy but more so sweet.
Their eyes t, seemingly isolating the rest of the world.
Ning Shishen felt a pang of sadness and said no more.
Mu Yan returned to the rest area, took out a jewelry box from her bag, and opened it—empty.
