We arrived in Dragon City at three in the afternoon, and the award ceremony starts at seven, so there’s still plenty of ti.
Song Cheng’an had already booked a hotel for us to rest.
In the hotel room, Mu Yan sat on the bed choosing her dress for the evening.
Jiang Jingheng was seated at the table working, his eyes fixed on the computer screen, his fingers flying over the keyboard.
Seeing how busy he was, Mu Yan got up to pour him a cup of tea and placed it by his hand.
Jiang Jingheng suddenly looked up at her, "Why don’t you take a rest?"
"I’m afraid if I fall asleep, I won’t want to get up," Mu Yan said with a smile.
She was already very tired, and if she lay on the bed, she would definitely want to sleep forever; it was better not to sleep at all from the start.
"Shall I take you for a walk then?" Jiang Jingheng got up, ready to close his laptop.
"No, it’s too cold outside," Mu Yan quickly said, "I still have to try on clothes and do my makeup."
He was already with her to attend the award ceremony, which was a big enough disruption; she didn’t want to tire him further.

Jiang Jingheng glanced at the clothes laid out on the bed and asked, "Which one did you choose?"
"This one." Mu Yan picked up the light pink lace dress.
Jiang Jingheng took a glance; it was her favorite color. Even though she was twenty-two, she still loved those pink and tender colors, just like a little princess.
But he was also happy to pamper her like a little princess.
"Try it on for ."
"Okay." Mu Yan readily agreed and went to the bathroom.
While waiting for her, Jiang Jingheng opened his laptop to continue working; he was always good at making use of every minute and second.
Before long, Mu Yan ca out.
"Do you think it’s pretty?" she asked, her voice a bit shy.
Jiang Jingheng looked up, a flash of amazent crossing his light brown eyes.
The light pink dress made her look even more pure and innocent, with the lace patterns on the bodice cleverly concealing key areas. It was a little sexy but not overly so.
The skirt below was a bit puffed, like a princess dress, pure yet alluring in its entire design.
Seeing him staring at her without speaking, Mu Yan felt a bit uneasy and asked again, "Does it not look good?"
Jiang Jingheng didn’t say a word; he got up, walked over to her, placed his hand on her shoulder, and lowered his head to give her a kiss on the lips.
"It’s very pretty."
Mu Yan smiled, "Then this is the one."
She turned around to start tidying up the clothes on the bed.
Jiang Jingheng’s gaze fell on her bare back, and his expression changed instantly.
Mu Yan was about to put the unchosen dresses into a bag when she suddenly felt an itch on her back, a warm, soft object sliding over it like ants crawling.
Simultaneously, a pair of arms suddenly hugged her waist.
Mu Yan shivered slightly and whispered, "Stop it."
But soone seed not to hear and continued to do as he pleased.
She was sowhat bashful and annoyed, "What are you doing, get off."
His actions were gentle, tickling her until she was itchy and restless.
Mu Yan felt entirely out of sorts and quickly said, "Jiang Jingheng, quit ssing around."
His voice was husky, filled with sighs, "So naughty."
Mu Yan was baffled; how was she naughty? But soone didn’t care what she thought.
Half an hour later, the sound of running water echoed from the bathroom, and Mu Yan, hugging her clothes, went to the full-length mirror to prepare to put them back on.
Looking in the mirror, she saw those blue and purple marks on her back.
How could she wear this dress now?
She muttered softly, "Is he a dog or sothing?"
