Mu Yan turned her head and saw Lan Xi looking at her with tear-filled eyes, her face covered in tears, her makeup smudged from crying.
Her brows furrowed slightly as she asked, "What’s wrong?"
Lan Xi bit her lip, shaking her head, restraining her tears from falling.
She tugged on Mu Yan and started walking back.

Lu Hao watched her, as her delicate and beautiful reflection in the mirror kept pulling up her collar. He let out a cold chuckle, "Afraid of others finding out about us? Fine, I’ll just pretend I had a fling with a nobody."
With that, he turned and walked out.
"Lu Hao!" the woman shouted in exasperation as she looked at his departing figure.
Unfortunately, Lu Hao was already gone.
