Returning to the villa, Mu Yan went straight to the master bedroom on the second floor.
Jiang Jingheng closed the door and followed her upstairs.
As soon as Mu Yan went up, she didn’t even change her clothes and lay directly on the bed, her back to the door and facing the window.
Jiang Jingheng ca in and said, "Change your clothes before you sleep."
"I won’t!"
A hint of helplessness appeared in Jiang Jingheng’s light brown eyes. He took the nightgown and walked to her side, asking, "Do you want to help you change?"
Mu Yan glared at him, not speaking.
Jiang Jingheng bent down to touch the zipper on the side of her clothes.
But the end was under Mu Yan as she lay, and his hand reaching over made her a bit ticklish.
She imdiately slapped his hand away, "What are you doing?"
"Helping you change clothes," Jiang Jingheng said smoothly.
Mu Yan, afraid of being tickled, dared not let him do so. She snorted lightly, "I’ll change myself."
She sat up, took the nightgown by the bed, and walked to the bathroom.
Jiang Jingheng watched her head to the bathroom and then turned to go downstairs.
When Mu Yan ca out of the bathroom, she didn’t see Jiang Jingheng anywhere.
She lay on the bed, trying to ignore him for losing his temper tonight.
But lying there quietly, slling the fresh scent on the pillowcase, her mind was full of him.
Hesitating for a mont, she sat up to find him.
When she reached the kitchen door, she noticed the light was on downstairs.
She went downstairs and heard sounds coming from the kitchen.
She went in to see Jiang Jingheng cooking.
At that mont, she felt a bit moved and guilty.
Only then did she rember that he had co straight from the airport to pick her up at the hotel.
He might not have even eaten, and she hadn’t asked him once.
Jiang Jingheng heard footsteps, saw it was her, and said, "The last dish is almost done. Go wait outside."
He turned back to continue cooking.
Mu Yan glanced at him a few tis and then turned to go out.
The dinner was relatively simple, two dishes and a soup, and Mu Yan hadn’t eaten much at night, but she had no appetite.
Considering it was late, Jiang Jingheng didn’t force her.
After dinner, they returned to the bedroom.
When Jiang Jingheng finished showering and ca out, he saw Mu Yan with her back to him, seemingly asleep.
He walked over, lay down beside her, and turned off the light.
He was hesitant to pull her into his arms for fear of waking her.
Suddenly, she moved, turned over, and rolled into his embrace.
Jiang Jingheng naturally hugged her, feeling his heart instantly filled.
Unexpectedly, she raised her head, kissed his lips, and her hands road over him.
Jiang Jingheng’s breath hitched, and he imdiately turned passive into active.
After it all ended, Mu Yan felt the frustration in her heart completely vanished.
That saying was true; after that, there’s nothing a couple can’t get past.
She held his waist and whispered, "I’m sorry."
"Hmm?" Jiang Jingheng kissed her cheek.
"I don’t seem to be a good wife," Mu Yan said softly.
Everything at ho was always done by him alone, and he didn’t even allow her to share the burden.
Saying he doesn’t care for her, even she wouldn’t believe it.
"How could you not be? You are the best wife," Jiang Jingheng said confidently.
Mu Yan chuckled softly, thinking only he would believe that.
She kissed his cheek and said seriously, "Husband, you’re wonderful."
Of course, if he were a little less jealous, it’d be even better.
Jiang Jingheng’s eyes darkened, "Want to go again?"
"I don’t," Mu Yan imdiately denied.
"Yes, you do." Jiang Jingheng said, ignoring her protest, and continued what they had just done.
Mu Yan lanted inwardly, wishing she hadn’t been so proactive.
This man was always full of energy, and it seed tonight would be a long one.
