During breakfast, Mu Yan asked, "Your mom doesn’t know about our marriage yet, does she?"
"Hmm?" Jiang Jingheng looked at her.
Mu Yan whispered, "I haven’t disclosed our marriage."
"Do you want not to ntion it either?" Jiang Jingheng countered.
Mu Yan looked at him, hesitated, and said, "I want to wait until she truly approves of before telling her."
"Okay." Jiang Jingheng agreed readily.
Mu Yan felt a sense of relief in her heart.
She called Yin Manqing "Aunt," and she got so angry. If she called her "Mom," she might just explode.
And she didn’t want to make a fool of herself.
After finishing breakfast, Mu Yan shooed Jiang Jingheng to work and stayed at ho reading scripts.
With thoughts consuming her mind, two hours passed, and she barely rembered a line of dialogue.
Ultimately, she gave up trying to morize them and decided to go out for a walk.
There was an art museum downtown, Mu Yan had been there a few tis before.
Afterward, when she could no longer paint and needed to make money, she simply didn’t have the ti to go.
She looked at the masterpieces on the walls, clearing her mind to feel the essence of the paintings.
Only at such tis was her heart at peace.
The sunflowers in the paintings were blooming, burning with life under the sun’s rays, passionate like fire, seemingly dispelling the hidden fears in her heart.
Footsteps approached, a tall figure stood next to her, looking at the paintings on the wall as she did.
He suddenly said, "You like sunflowers too."
Mu Yan snapped back to reality and looked at the man beside her, eyes filled with surprise, "Brother Ning, why are you here?"
"Looking for so inspiration." Ning Shishen said calmly.
Mu Yan laughed, "What a coincidence."
"Yes, quite a coincidence."
In fact, Ning Shishen was just passing by the art museum, and when he saw her co in, he followed.
Though the two kinds of coincidences differed, either way, it indicated he had a connection with her.
ntioning sunflowers made Mu Yan recall the charity event and that painting. She apologized, "Brother Ning, I’m sorry that Jing Heng took the painting you wanted last ti."
"No need to apologize, it just ans that painting wasn’t ant for ." Ning Shishen smiled.
Seeing his nonchalant attitude, Mu Yan breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you."
"Why did you co here alone?" Ning Shishen asked.
"Oh, I had nothing to do this afternoon, so I wandered around and ended up here."
Ning Shishen looked at her face and asked, "Do you have sothing on your mind?"
"No." Mu Yan shook her head.
Ning Shishen didn’t quite believe it and asked, "Is it because of the recent scandal?"
Having such difficult relatives, she’s had a hard ti these years.
Of course, he also admired her for taking such good care of a brother with no blood relation for so long.
"No." Mu Yan shook her head again, "Brother Ning, please don’t ask."
Ning Shishen saw her reluctance and nodded, "Alright."
Mu Yan looked at the sunflowers on the wall and asked, "Why does Brother Ning like sunflowers so much?"
Ning Shishen thought for a mont and said, "Because of a girl."
"Hmm?" Mu Yan looked at him.
Ning Shishen answered, "When I was young, my parents took to visit a family, and they had lots of sunflowers. There, I t the Sunflower Girl. She was as delicate as jade, lively and lovely, with a great talent for painting, especially sunflowers."
Mu Yan’s eyelids twitched, a strange feeling welled up in her heart, indescribable!
She recalled sothing and asked, "Is she your fiancée?"
