Don’t torture each other anymore?
A fleeting light flickered in Jiang Jingheng’s light brown eyes. Does she want to break off completely with him?
Her eyes were slightly red and swollen, and her fair face was tight from crying, looking extrely pitiful. Yet, in those clear eyes, there seed to be a certain resolute belief.
Jiang Jingheng raised his hand to pinch her cheek and asked, "Did I torture you? Heartless."
Mu Yan felt a bit guilty and mumbled, "Not seeing you is a kind of torture for ."
"Hmm? What did you say, I didn’t hear you." Jiang Jingheng looked at her in surprise.
Mu Yan glared at him, "You’re doing it on purpose."
Jiang Jingheng didn’t deny it, "Good words are always worth hearing a second ti. I just wonder if I have this honor."
Mu Yan pressed her lips together, her voice choked and hoarse, "I miss you so much."
At this mont, Jiang Jingheng’s heart turned to mush; for this sentence, he would give her his life.
He pulled her into his arms, and the heart that had been suspended for a month finally settled.
Before, he thought he was impenetrable, invulnerable.
But now, it didn’t take swords and guns; just a single tear from her, and he surrendered imdiately.
He sighed, "You were born to torture ."
"Then you’ll have to endure it." Mu Yan snorted lightly.
Anyway, she would never do such a foolish thing as to leave him alone again.
He’s so good, she won’t let anyone else have him.
Truly loving soone isn’t about leaving their life to fulfill them, but walking through storms with them.
She thought she was doing the right thing by considering his benefit, but did he really need it?
If he had minded the gap between their statuses at first, he wouldn’t have been with her.
On the way back, she had been pondering this issue, and at the mont she saw him, she had already made a decision.
Thinking of all the things he had done for her, she felt she had been really terrible.
She can’t hurt anyone, least of all him, even under the guise of doing it for his good.
She didn’t know how long had passed when Mu Yan released him and asked, "Do you bla ?"
Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow, "Bla you for what?"
Mu Yan hesitated and said, "I didn’t contact you for a month."
"So from now on, add one more condition when choosing scripts."
"Hmm?" Mu Yan was a bit puzzled. What’s this got to do with choosing scripts?
"In the future, just film dostically, don’t go abroad. It’s too far and inconvenient to contact, signals are often lost, and you have to open roaming." Jiang Jingheng said calmly.
Mu Yan paused; could it be that he thought she hadn’t contacted him this month simply because she was abroad, making it inconvenient?
In any case, she felt she needed to confess.
"Actually..."
"You’ve said so much, yet your hair is still wet." Jiang Jingheng interrupted her.
Mu Yan touched her long hair; indeed, it was still a bit wet. She said nonchalantly, "It’s okay, it will dry soon."
"If you catch a cold, it’s not who will be hurting." Jiang Jingheng glanced at her, "Sit well, I’ll get the hairdryer."
"Oh." Mu Yan agreed obediently.
She watched his back, finding it hard to understand his thoughts.
He’s so smart, there’s no way he wouldn’t know.
In a short while, Jiang Jingheng returned with a hairdryer.
The hum of the hairdryer echoed in the room, and her damp hair gradually lost its moisture.
She looked at his handso face, her heart calm as still water, wishing this warm life could continue forever.
Once her hair was dry, Mu Yan still decided to confess, "The reason I’ve cut off contact with you recently is because..."
Suddenly, warmth spread across her lips, and all her words were swallowed back.
"Hush, I don’t want to hear that."
Mu Yan looked into his light brown eyes, suddenly embraced his neck, kissed his lips, and said, "I love you, I want to be with you forever."
"It’s not just want, it’s a must." Jiang Jingheng’s eyes darkened slightly, and he gripped the back of her head, kissing her fiercely.
