Mu Yan hugged Jiang Jingheng’s waist and laughed, "We’ve only been apart for a day, and you’re acting like we haven’t seen each other in ten years. Don’t you feel mushy?"
"I can’t help it; I want to see you all the ti." Jiang Jingheng said, kissing her forehead.
Mu Yan looked up at him, and her restless heart felt extrely peaceful at this mont.
She whispered, "I want to be with you all the ti too."
His eyes flickered, "Then don’t work anymore, let take you ho."
"No way!" Mu Yan imdiately refused.
She didn’t want to be a parasite.
Jiang Jingheng smiled slightly, "Just kidding, I’m waiting for Mrs. Jiang to support ."
"Good!" Mu Yan gave him a quick kiss, then asked, "Why did you suddenly co over?"
"Didn’t I just say?"
"Stop fooling around, tell the truth." Mu Yan snorted softly.
"Does Mrs. Jiang really not trust ?" Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow.
Mu Yan lightly coughed, "No."
The topic of trust was too serious to tackle casually.
"Aren’t you working tomorrow? Hurry and get so sleep." Jiang Jingheng changed the subject.
"Okay." Mu Yan released him and imdiately ran to the bed.
Jiang Jingheng looked at her displeased, "Try not wearing shoes again next ti?"
Mu Yan covered herself with the air conditioner quilt, with half her face hidden. Her eyes darted around as she whispered, "Isn’t there a carpet?"
Jiang Jingheng frowned, "Aren’t you aware of your own health? Even with a carpet, you should wear shoes."
"Got it." Mu Yan whispered.
Even though she got scolded, she felt a sweet warmth in her heart.
Jiang Jingheng glanced at her, saying nothing more, and took pajamas from the suitcase to the bathroom for a shower.
By the ti he ca out, Mu Yan was almost asleep.
As soon as he lay down on the bed, she rolled into his arms, hugged his waist, and found a comfortable position to fall asleep.
Jiang Jingheng tucked her in and held her as they slept.
However, in the middle of the night, Mu Yan suddenly woke up, crying her heart out.
"What’s wrong?" Jiang Jingheng held her and asked, turning on the bedside lamp.
Mu Yan clung to him, sobbing, "I’m so scared. I dread that I died."
Hearing this, Jiang Jingheng’s heart sank. He suddenly held her tight, comforting her, "It’s just a dream, not real."
Mu Yan seed not to hear, continuing in her own world, "Mom and I kept running, running, suddenly I tripped and fell into the water. I drank so much water, I felt like I was suffocating. I saw Mom get caught, she was crying, she couldn’t save , I couldn’t save her, the bad guys wanted to kill us."
"With here, no bad person can hurt you. Don’t be scared; it’s not real." Jiang Jingheng said softly.
Mu Yan sniffed, stopped talking, but held his arm even tighter.
Probably exhausted from crying, she fell asleep again shortly afterward.
Jiang Jingheng watched her sleeping, her brows still furrowed, looking so pitiful and helpless, making his heart ache.
Even if those people were her relatives, if they dared to harm her, he wouldn’t spare them.
In the latter half of the night, Mu Yan didn’t have any more dreams.
When she woke up in the morning, she hardly rembered what happened yesterday, filled instead with the joy of having Jiang Jingheng by her side.
In a rush to shoot a comrcial, she quickly washed up and was about to head out.
When she opened the door, she saw Zhuang Shaoyang standing there.
She frowned slightly, coldly saying, "What are you doing here?"
Facing his daughter’s indifference, Zhuang Shaoyang felt a bit awkward, "Nuannuan, morning!"
"Who’s at the door?" From the room, Jiang Jingheng’s voice ca.
He ca out and saw Zhuang Shaoyang standing outside.
Zhuang Shaoyang’s expression changed dramatically upon seeing Jiang Jingheng and said warily, "Why are you in Nuannuan’s room?"
