Shengyuan Group, Yin Manqing ca to the president’s office on the thirtieth floor to look for Jiang Jingheng. Clearly, he had returned to Upper City, yet he wasn’t coming to the company.
For a woman, does he not even want the Jiang Family’s inheritance anymore?
Yin Manqing felt a strong sense of crisis in her heart and headed for the elevator without another word.
After Lin Jiamu and the others left, the villa quieted down.
Jiang Jingheng was walking with Mu Yan on the grass outside. The setting sun cast long shadows of the two of them.
It was as if she was coated in a layer of golden light, making her whole figure look sowhat ethereal.
Jiang Jingheng had a feeling he couldn’t hold onto her, so he instinctively tightened his grip on her hand.
Feeling sothing, she suddenly turned her head to look at him.
Their eyes t, and he looked at her lifeless eyes, raised his hand and pinched her cheek.
"Actually, you’re quite good like this."
No matter how many people surrounded her, her eyes always only had him.
But he wanted to see her lively side more, to see her smiling at him like a sunflower.
After walking outside for a while, Jiang Jingheng took her back inside.
He suddenly received a call; an unexpected incident had occurred with a project in the United States that needed handling.
He asked Mu Yan to sit in the living room while he went upstairs to get his laptop.
Just as he went up, Yin Manqing ca in.
She saw Mu Yan sitting on the sofa, and her face imdiately turned ugly. "Where is Jiang Jingheng?" she asked.
Mu Yan was smoothing the hair of the doll Jiang Jingheng had just given her and didn’t even glance at Yin Manqing.
Being ignored by soone she completely disdained made Yin Manqing angry, "Didn’t you hear speaking to you?"
Such a woman still wants to be her daughter-in-law. It’s a dream. I don’t know if Jingheng has been bewitched to be so infatuated.
Mu Yan still ignored her, maintaining her previous actions.
Yin Manqing was so furious she could explode, she went over and took the doll from Mu Yan’s hand and threw it to the ground.
"I’m asking you a question!"
Mu Yan looked at the doll thrown to the ground, and tears started falling.
Yin Manqing was a bit stunned; what’s going on? She stole her doll, and she cried?
How can she be so childish?
Just then, there was a noise from the stairs.
Jiang Jingheng ca down quickly. Seeing Yin Manqing, his face instantly turned cold, "What are you doing here?"
Yin Manqing snapped back to her senses, looked at Jiang Jingheng, and said displeasedly, "What the hell are you doing? You haven’t been to the company for days, not attending any important etings. Are you just waiting for your grandfather to replace you?"
Jiang Jingheng was about to say sothing when he suddenly heard Mu Yan sobbing.
His expression slightly changed, and he quickly walked over to see her face full of tears.
He gently asked, "What’s wrong?"
Seeing him, Mu Yan cried even harder, her gaze falling to the ground.
Jiang Jingheng followed her gaze to the doll on the floor, bent down, picked it up, and handed it to her.
Sure enough, once she held the doll, she stopped crying.
Yin Manqing stood by, dumbfounded. What was going on?
Jiang Jingheng turned his head to look at Yin Manqing, his face full of impatience, "You’re not welco here."
Yin Manqing thought for a mont, rembering a piece of information she had heard earlier, and suddenly sneered, "Is this the woman you’re interested in? If outsiders knew your wife had a ntal illness, not only you but the Jiang Family would beco a laughingstock in all of Upper City."
"Does it concern you?" Jiang Jingheng stated indifferently.
Yin Manqing said unhappily, "How does it not concern ."
Jiang Jingheng turned to look at her, coldness in his eyes, "Do you count as Jiang Family?"
