Jiang Wenhao’s gaze fell on Mu Yan, and he nodded slightly to her, then said to Jiang Jingheng, "What are you doing standing at the door? Bring your sister-in-law in, I’m not that strict about rules here."
Jiang Jingheng led Mu Yan in and introduced, "This is my big brother."
"Hello, big brother, and hello, sister-in-law!" Mu Yan called out in turn.
Liu Xiangqing accepted the greeting as sister-in-law with ease, looked at Mu Yan and smiled, "I went to see your latest movie in the theater, it was very good."
"Thank you," Mu Yan nodded.
Jiang Wenhao looked apologetically at Jiang Jingheng and Mu Yan, "I’m very sorry I wasn’t downstairs when the family was recognizing you."
As he spoke, he picked up a file bag from the table and handed it over, "This is a small token of my appreciation."
Mu Yan was montarily stunned and looked at Jiang Jingheng.
Jiang Jingheng walked over to take the file bag and said, "Thank you, big brother."
Mu Yan followed suit and said, "Thank you, big brother."
"We’re family, no need to be so formal," Jiang Wenhao smiled, his gaze falling on Mu Yan again, "Since I learned that Jingheng was dating soone, I’ve wanted to et you, but he kept it all hidden away, like he was afraid soone would steal the treasure he had worked so hard to get."
Mu Yan glanced at Jiang Jingheng and laughed, "No, he’s just feeling guilty."
"That’s right, getting married without a word, not even introducing the girl to the family. If I’d known, I’d have given him a good talking to," Jiang Wenhao nodded seriously.
Liu Xiangqing looked at Jiang Jingheng teasingly, "When your big brother told you got married so ti ago, I thought the world was ending. I never expected King Jiang to be tad one day, quietly fall in love, and even get married straight away. You’ve done a great job keeping it all a secret."
Jiang Jingheng remained unfazed, calmly saying, "Does falling in love have to be announced to the whole world?"
Mu Yan glanced at the person beside her and suddenly thought of a question: Did she and Jiang Jingheng ever really date?
Although there was half a year between getting the marriage certificate and falling in love, she was at most just having a crush, and after understanding each other’s feelings, they beca a true couple.
Seeing his clueless look, Liu Xiangqing asked Mu Yan, "Sister-in-law, is he always this punchable in front of you?"
Mu Yan chuckled, turned to look at Jiang Jingheng and deliberately hesitated, "Well, actually..."
Jiang Jingheng turned his head with a displeased look, "Hmm?"
Mu Yan imdiately changed her tune, "Of course not, Jingheng is a very gentle person."
Jiang Jingheng looked at her with a doting expression, raised his hand to pinch her cheek, and chuckled softly, "Good girl."
Unprepared for the display of affection, Liu Xiangqing felt she lost her appetite for dinner.
She looked at Jiang Wenhao with a smile, "Should we give them so space?"
Mu Yan blushed, glared at Jiang Jingheng, and looked down elsewhere.
Jiang Jingheng looked at Liu Xiangqing with a frown and said, "Don’t tease her, she’s shy."
"Ha, your face wasn’t so thin when you were flaunting your love," Liu Xiangqing snorted.
Jiang Wenhao laughed, "Alright, isn’t dinner ready? You guys go down first, I’ll change clothes and join you in a bit."
"Okay," Jiang Wenhao nodded, and led Mu Yan back to their room.
Liu Xiangqing watched their retreating figures and said to Jiang Wenhao beside her, "Judging by the looks of it, they must still be in the honeymoon phase."
Jiang Wenhao seed to recall sothing, his eyes subtly shifting, and he said calmly, "He’s a very devoted person."
