The next morning, Mu Yan received a call from Yin Manqing.
"Did you know that Zhuang Chujiao ca to Upper City?"
Mu Yan frowned slightly, "What’s wrong?"
"She stayed at the mansion last night and ca to the company early this morning to confront Jing Heng. That sister of yours may seem impulsive and thoughtless, but she has a lot of sches. She didn’t miss a chance to badmouth you during dinner with us last night."
"I trust Jing Heng," Mu Yan stated directly.
Yin Manqing’s tone was sowhat brusque, "I know you two are still in the honeymoon phase and think the other is the only one. But n are the most fickle; even the smartest n can act foolish in front of a woman. Many things just happen; don’t be too naive."
Mu Yan felt her tone seed as if she had experienced it herself.
Thinking of Jiang Zhenghong’s relationship with her, she seed to understand sothing.
What Yin Manqing said had so truth in it, but Mu Yan felt it didn’t apply to Jiang Jingheng.
She was a bit puzzled, "You just don’t trust your own son?"
"It’s not that I don’t trust him; I don’t trust that brat Zhuang Chujiao. If she causes any trouble, it’ll be embarrassing not just for her, but for the Jiang Family as well."
