As they were approaching the set, Song Cheng’an suddenly said, "Get ready, we might encounter journalists at the set."
Mu Yan was a bit surprised, "What are the journalists here for?"
"It’s sort of an impromptu press conference. I’ll announce that you’re my artist," Song Cheng’an replied.
"Okay."
Song Cheng’an, worried that her lack of experience might cause her to say the wrong thing, reminded her, "Just stand beside and don’t say anything."

The car stopped outside the set, and through the window, Mu Yan could see about a dozen journalists outside, all eagerly waiting.
"Let’s get out," Song Cheng’an said, opening the car door and getting out first.
Mu Yan followed closely, but after only a few steps, she was surrounded by a throng of reporters.
Reporters held up microphones, surrounding her, bombarding her with questions.

Each reporter was eager for the first scoop, pushing and shoving.

The chattering around her was so loud that it made her head throb.
Song Cheng’an raised his hand to signal, "I know you have many questions, and we’ll answer them one by one, please calm down."
His words were effective enough, and the reporters quieted down.
One female reporter asked, "President Song, what’s your relationship with Mu Yan?"
"Isn’t it obvious? She is my artist, and I’m her manager," Song Cheng’an answered.
The reporters weren’t surprised by this answer.

"Is there any reason that compelled you to co back?" Another reporter’s question was sharp.
Song Cheng’an laughed, "Isn’t it just to make a living, earn so retirent funds?"
"President Song, don’t joke. Why did you choose Mu Yan? She was just a stand-in before," the reporter continued to ask.
It almost implied that Mu Yan wasn’t even qualified to debut.
Song Cheng’an’s smile vanished, and he said coldly, "Are you belittling stand-ins? How many actors owe their success to the silent contributions of these stand-ins, who can deny them?"
That reporter imdiately fell silent.
With a serious face, Song Cheng’an continued, "Your question sounds familiar, soone once asked why I chose Xiang Lanqiu."
Imdiately, soone else asked, "Do you an, President Song, that Mu Yan’s future achievents could compare to Xiang Lanqiu?"
"I chose Xiang Lanqiu for her talent, and ti proved I had good judgnt. It’s the sa reason today, but as for how Mu Yan will fare, that depends on her own fortune."
Another reporter asked, "So, President Song, are you aware of the relationship between Mu Yan and Zhou Lifen?"
"Does this have a direct relation to my choosing her?" Song Cheng’an countered, "When I signed a contract with her, she was unattached, and that’s all that mattered."
Song Cheng’an’s answers were watertight, leaving the reporters at a loss.
Soone shifted their focus to Mu Yan, who had remained silent.
"Mu Yan, it’s reported online that Zhou Lifen helped your brother, yet you bit the hand that fed you by taking her resources. Is this true?"
Song Cheng’an laughed, "That magazine has already published a clarification."
The reporter was relentless, staring sharply at Mu Yan, "Mu Yan, if you didn’t do it, why don’t you dare explain to the public? Or is it that you have a guilty conscience?"
Just as Song Cheng’an was about to speak, Mu Yan spoke up from beside him.
"Did Sister Zhou ever personally tell you that I snatched her resources?"
