After a good night’s sleep, the next morning Mu Yan woke up to find the spot beside her already empty.
She reached out to touch it; it was cold, indicating he had gotten up early.
She sat up and looked out the window; the sunshine was just right, and the sky was a clear blue.
The weather in Beijing in October isn’t cold, just that there’s quite a temperature difference between morning and night.
Stretching lazily, Mu Yan got up, washed, changed clothes, and went downstairs.
In the living room, Mrs. Zhuang was talking with Ruan Xinyu, Mr. Zhuang sat nearby reading a newspaper, while Zhuang Zeyang and Zhuang Yi had both gone to work.
Seeing her co down, Ruan Xinyu smiled and said, "Nuannuan, you’re up."
"Pretty good," Mu Yan smiled, "Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt, good morning."
"Did you sleep well last night?" Mrs. Zhuang asked.
"Yes." Mu Yan nodded, subconsciously looking around. Where is he?
Ruan Xinyu noticed her confusion and asked, "Looking for Jing Heng?"
"Yes." Mu Yan nodded.
Ruan Xinyu looked at the old lady, "Mom, they say once daughters grow up, their elbows turn outward. Nuannuan is always thinking about her husband even when she’s with us, unlike at ho when she doesn’t think about us."
"True, children just don’t belong to their mothers once they’re grown," Mrs. Zhuang sighed.
Hearing this, Mu Yan’s face instantly turned red, embarrassed by the teasing.
Seeing they’d had enough fun teasing her, Ruan Xinyu said, "He’s in the kitchen making breakfast for you."
Mu Yan understood and sat down next to Ruan Xinyu.
Seeing her calm deanor, Ruan Xinyu and the old lady exchanged a knowing glance and tentatively asked Mu Yan, "Does he always make breakfast when you’re at ho?"
"Yeah." Mu Yan nodded, "Normally we have an aunt do the housework, but when I’m ho, he cooks."
Ruan Xinyu was a bit shocked, "Then what do you do?"
"I eat, of course."
Seeing Mu Yan’s matter-of-fact look, Ruan Xinyu couldn’t help but say, "Does your mother-in-law know about this?"

Initially, they worried Jiang Jingheng might be putting on a show in front of them, but seeing Mu Yan’s innocent look, clearly spoiled by soone, put their minds at ease.
"Nothing really, but Jing Heng is in the kitchen making breakfast for you, maybe you should go check on him rather than just sitting here."
"Right, it’s good for a man to treat a woman well, but if you accompany him during the process, he’ll be moved and treat you even better," Mrs. Zhuang added.
Mu Yan hadn’t even gotten comfortable before her grandma and aunt nudged her into the kitchen.
As soon as she entered, she saw Jiang Jingheng holding a frying pan, frying eggs. His ordinary actions looked exceptionally elegant.

Noticing soone enter, Jiang Jingheng turned his head to see her and asked, "Hungry?"
"Yes." Mu Yan approached and hugged him from behind, whispering, "Grandma and Aunt think I’m inconsiderate."
"Hmm?"
"Having you, the busy CEO, cook for feels like a waste of talent."
Jiang Jingheng chuckled softly, turned to see her pouting lips, and lowered his head to peck them, "Then should I quit?"
Mu Yan was montarily stunned, then realized his aning and gave him a glare, "Are you telling to survive on air? You said you love , liar."
"So should I stop cooking for you?" Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow, "But I don’t want to."
Mu Yan wasn’t really mad at him; seeing his exquisitely arched eyes, her heart pounded like a drum. They’ve been together so long, yet the feeling of being moved by him never faded.
Suddenly, she stood on tiptoe and leaned in to kiss him, slowly closing her eyes.
Ruan Xinyu’s voice suddenly rang from the doorway, "Nuannuan, the Guan family is here, you... Ahem ahem..."
