At the airport, Mu Yan ca out of the restroom and saw Jiang Jingheng on the phone as soon as she entered the VIP lounge.
Jiang Jingheng also saw her and imdiately said to the person on the other end of the phone, "Continue to monitor his whereabouts."
He hung up and looked at Mu Yan, "Ti to board."
"Okay." Mu Yan nodded, taking the water he handed her and taking a sip.
They arrived in Upper City around 1 PM.
Mu Yan hadn’t seen Mu Chen for days and was worried, so she let Jiang Jingheng drop her off at the hospital while he went to the company.
Mu Chen still didn’t look well, but had been peaceful these past few days.
Seeing her return, he was also happy and shared his experiences from Beijing over the past few days.
Mu Yan almost got hit, but she never told Mu Chen about it.
So she randomly made up so stories, though dull, Mu Chen listened with interest.
In the afternoon, after work, Jiang Jingheng ca to pick them up, and accompanied them for dinner before heading ho.
On the way ho, Mu Yan suddenly received a call from an unknown number, coming from Beijing.
Her first reaction was to ignore it, but the number soon called again.
Jiang Jingheng glanced at her phone and asked, "Who?"
"Unknown number," Mu Yan replied.
Since the Zhang Qun incident, Mu Yan had changed her phone number, and now only close people knew this number.
"Either answer it or block it," Jiang Jingheng suddenly said, "Otherwise, I guess he’ll keep calling."
Mu Yan glanced at him. He was staring straight ahead, his expression calm and sowhat displeased.
She was a little puzzled, it was just an unknown phone number.
Looking at the caller ID, she answered the call.
"Hello."
"Nuannuan, it’s ." A familiar male voice sounded.
Mu Yan’s face instantly darkened, Guan Chao?
"How did you get my phone number?"
Guan Chao didn’t answer but said, "I specifically called to apologize to you."
However, this could be considered an answer to how he got the phone number.
Mu Yan thought of the relationship between the Guan and Zhuang families. If Guan Chao said he wanted to call and apologize, the Zhuang family would certainly give him the number.
She coldly said, "I’ve received your apology, goodbye."
"Do you really hate so much?" Guan Chao laughed lightly.

Mu Yan frowned, what nonsense, and directly hung up the phone.
"I told you not to answer it, it’s your fault." She turned to glare at Jiang Jingheng, looking displeased.
Just hearing Guan Chao’s voice made her feel nauseated.
What a terrible excuse—bullying her because he liked her. Who knows what his ulterior motives were.
Jiang Jingheng turned his head to see her pouting, her eyes almost spitting fire. He grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it, gently saying, "Yes, it’s all my fault."
His candid acknowledgnt of the error made Mu Yan feel a bit embarrassed.
She wasn’t really angry with him; she was just acting spoiled because she knew he loved her and would indulge her.
Back at the villa, Mu Yan went to wash up, exhausted from the day’s events.
Jiang Jingheng took his phone to the study, dialed a number, and coldly said, "Break both his hands."
After hanging up, he stared at the phone, his eyes flashing coldly, thinking without hands, let’s see how he’ll make calls.
